I need some PC help and this is the most visited thread and I keep getting too tired to go elsewhere by the time Im finished here. If I can get an answer please feel free to move this after you see a "thanks" from me to the helper
I got a new Inspiron 1521 for my birthday. BTW, it has that new fast as lightening 802.11N (whatever it's called). Everything downloads in seconds! Ok, my problem: I can't click on a link that allows you to email whoever I want to email (IE..if Im on an RTG site and want to email them, I have to open my homepage inbox window and send an email via my comcast) My Windows Vista Webmail keeps giving me some 0080x blah blah blah error) When I had my other desktop it did the same thing and I fixed it but forgot what I did, plus this is vista and that was windows. And how the hell would I find out if my incoming is POP3/IMAP/SMTP? and I have no clue what my outgoing server is. This is getting to complicated for me. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, Ill give you mind treats in exchange for your knowledge LMAO

Ok that means your email program is not configured correctly. You are missing several things like the pop3 and smtp servers names.
Only way to know that is to contact your internet service provider. Ask them what are the names of the pop3 and smtp mail servers. When you have that, follow these instructions : http://www.blacksburg.net/setupvistaemail.html |
