Question MG slots in Free Play

Before you ask, NO, this is not another "rigged" thread.

Is it just me, or are MG slots weighted differently in free play?

I've noticed that I hit an inordinate amount of bonus rounds/free spins while playing with "free money". I'm talking about hitting these rounds (on average) in < 75 spins apart from one another.

If I could hit this many bonuses/free spins in real mode, I'd be a rich man by now...lol

Anyways, if it's true that they weight free games in favor of getting more bonus rounds, it's so wrong on many levels.

    Input?
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

Hi Winbig: I tried this very experiment last weekend - I have a MG account where I can easily switch between real mode/play mode. I would play a particular game in fun mode - seemed to be hitting pretty good and would switch to real - the free spins were there - roughly 30 seconds behind the play mode. I did this most of Sat. afternoon with the same consistent result. However, I also have a much larger bank roll in fun mode - and have tried to lose it and can't, I always win. I do believe though the MG play does run close to real mode, however, when a slot is hitting ok there is no way to know how many minutes apart they are running.... or maybe I was just lucky!! I know this was of no help! LOL

When I was analyzing Harveys a while ago, I would log on in free mode to collect "live" data about the multipliers during the free spins, to get an estimate of the distribution of each different mystery multiplier.

In order to collect this data, I needed to get the free spins first, so I would keep setting up AutoPlay to run for 500 spins.

It once went the entire 500 spins without getting the feature.

It was then that I knew that free mode is EXACTLY like real mode.

    Too funny! Thanks!

For all you casino reps out there...don't forget that ANY increase in payout frequency in free mode over real should, in my opinion prevent discerning players from EVER giving your casino their business.

I don't know how you guys come out ahead in Fun Play. I've lost millions. Granted, there was the time I took $5k and had it up to $250k.... but even that didn't make up for all the millions I've 'lost'. Can't seem to buy a bonus round. When I do get a bonus round it pays (maybe) 10x bet. But then... I'm not very careful in Fun Mode, and have played very little VP. To be honest... I've lost my a$$. Losing in Fun Mode is a good cure for the 'want to play for real money' itch.

The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

Slightly off topic but the fun mode for Food Fight at RTG and Paigow Poker (House Way) at Playtech are flawed. The former gives you nothing when you hit the feature ie Choosing one out of 5 while the latter arranges the cards in ridculous ways sometimes and the results sometimes ends in pushes even the the player's hand is hugely inferior to that of the dealer. Actually, in real mode they had the same problems although it was of a less serious nature.
