Can someone help me with VP?

I have a question and would like a couple of opinion. Im use to playing 7 card stud in person, so this VP with just 5 cards is different

Say I have 2 Aces and the other 3 cards are all spades and so is one of the A's. Im playing 3 hands at a time and 3 credits of .5 cents(.45 cents)

do I .......take the 2 aces X 3 and get a win for sure OR do I hold the 4 spades and hope for another spade and have a chance of losing?

    OR

What if Im dealt a straight in 4 of one suit and one of another......do I keep the straight or just hold the 4 in the same suit and hope for a straight flush or just a flush?

    Thank you

It depends on the game and paytable. In the first case, you probably want to hold the Aces. The latter case depends too much on the game variation/paytable for me to guess.

Hello, I LOVE VP. Before I can answer your questions, I need more info... What type of VP? Do you mean Jacks or Better?
    Is this MC or RTG?
There is a ton of info on the net, I can help direct you or even send charts on what to keep, but as aka mentioned the paytable info is also needed. And each VP game has different strategy

    hi

sometimes I play joker poker and sometimes jacks or better. That's it. I dont like the double or nothing ones. I dont mind if there are different opinions, its not like I play for alot of money and I wouldnt be mad if it didnt work out

Im just curious what most people would do, no matter what the kind of poker. Its kind of a general question in my mind. I mean, if Im just playing for cents, not dollars it's not a big risk.

You either would keep the 2 aces and go for 3 or 4 of a kind with atleast a certainty of a winning or you would take the chance and go for the flush with the knowledge of not winning a thing.

    Slots Wizard

    Hiya

Ive been trying your analyzer this morning. I hit max, guess what Im suppose to play, put my cards in your analyzer to see if Im right and click on draw

Like I said, Im new to VP so Im just playing one cent Jacks or better but I started with $5 45 minutes ago, playing max and Im up .20 (lol, i know) but its better than having zero.

You know what? Im doing pretty well. There was only one hand where I guessed wrong. I just LOVE this plus, it taking longer and Im being entertained and learning so much

THank you so very much. You did a nice thing to help people with no other motive than teaching/helping. Good Karma will come your way

Thanks Babs! Just be wary of the paytables - if you go back to a game after analyzing a hand, the paytable will reset to the first entry in the list, so if that wasn't what you intended you'll need to change it back to the paytable you want. I'll see if I can figure something out to correct that soon, I should be able to.

    Good luck!

Also, Babs, if you are playing Joker Poker at an RTG casino, do not use the analyzer for regular Joker Poker (Kings or Better), you need to choose Joker Poker (Kings or Better with SNARF).

SNARF is the acronym I came up with for Sequential Natural Royal Flush. (Thank you Thundercats!)

If you are dealt a hand with any suited 10, J, Q, K, or A in SNARF position, you should enter the cards into the analyzer in the exact order they were dealt to you. This way it can tell you whether or not you should go for the SNARF. If you aren't dealt any cards in SNARF position, then it doesn't matter what order you enter them.

One other point worthy of mentioning: the SNARF is suited 10,J,Q,K,A only. Suited A,K,Q,J,10 is not considered a SNARF. I know, it's crazy. If I had my way they would both be SNARFs.
