Can someone tell me where I can cash a International check in the US

Can someone tell me where I can cash a check?
The last one bounced from my bank because it was some type of International check and my bank could not deposit it into my acct
Does anyone know what banks in the US take them?

Have you tried one of those check cashing places? I can certainly understand the bank rejecting it if one has bounced before... My bank took a check from Cyprus about a year ago -5 days to clear. Sorry I haven't been any help - but good luck with this one!

I never used them before.
Up here in the North East the only people that use them are lol I don't want to be mean today lol.

ive never had a prob. knock on wood so far with international checks. is the check a cashiers check or certified ? my small bank takes them as long as they are certified or in the form of a cashiers check. if its a regular international check they sometimes put a 10 to 15 day hold on it. i know that citi bank has offices all over the world and that was where some of my cashiers checks were drawn on. i know its a pain sometimes.hope this was some help laurie

I deposit international checks in my bank account at Wells Fargo every week. I simply go to a teller's window and give them the check. It has been my experience that international checks cannot be deposited via ATM. They mentioned some other local check-cashing-type locations I could go to for a better currency conversion, but I didn't bother.

Thanks my friends.
It's just a Reg check from partygaming cashiers check.
And it does have the words International banking on the front of it.
I just over looked it and made a deposit in my bank and it came back to me.
In the past I never ran into this before.My bank took them all and they got it.and the money went into my acct.
