First, back to the derailment: Mike031 is in put a difficult position if he uses a computerized translator (such as Google's or Babelfish) because these do not work very well at all: you can translate a phrase from English to some other language and back to English, and it can be completely different from what you originally entered, and it might have the "cold tone" that Mike031's posts sometimes appear to have. This is inevitable. I think we should appreciate the fact that we can share the forum with people whose native language is something other than our own, and we should probably keep in mind the possibiliy that a computerized translator might have been used when reading posts from people who don't speak 100% perfect English.

Secondly, back to the topic of the thread: I like this game the best out of the 3 new ones.

The five-of-a-kind gamble feature with the you-cannot-lose safety net means that all 5 of a kind payouts have an average expected value of 1.5 times what the paytable says, so that's pretty good. My very first real-money spin on this game yielded 5 nines; I chose red and was correct so the payout was doubled. The second time I got five of a kind I chose black, and it was red again so I did not win.

So, based on that, and based on the Green Light game where the lights turn Red the majority of the time... I think you should always pick red since RTG seems to lean that way (in more ways than two)!

Agreed - I have seen that too. I just thought that for this particular instance, there was something "lost in translation" (or more specifically, "added because of translation").

I agree with you that I like some of the clones better than the others..... However, to keep releasing 2-3 slots per month when they were clones for a loooooong time is a bit ridiculous. Anyone can do that.

I'd like to see some REAL creative slots.... These slots creators need to get out to a land-based casino sometime and see what is popular... there are some truly unique creations out there. It would be a good starting point for ideas if they can't come up with them on their own

One thing about translations - you can't translate manners of speaking very well. Mike is Austrian - Austrians and Germans speak matter-of-fact which seems abrupt to most - including fellow Germans/Austrians. That's just the way it is.

But even so, comments like - "please be quite" do seem a bit demanding. Let's chill on trying to get the last word in. Just let it go.

I agree Bryan about the German language sounding abrupt when using straight translation, I work in Europe and hear about 5 or 6 languages being spoken around me everyday, most of them translate ok but the speaker, unless they are very fluent, still uses their own language rules during the translation.
Spanish speakers rarely use please and thankyou in situations we do so can sound rude, but they dont use them in their own language so it feels strange to them to use them in English.

First: I like that game. I know I bashed it at first but the last two days, I have been getting lots of bonus spins, plus the 2nd bonus during the spins. It's more fun than I originally thought

mike is one of my favourites. he's a straight shooter, like bryan had said is typical, and when i just started reading this from page one, i chuckled at mike's post, and when i read further and people are taking offense, i said to myself "duh he's german" (correction he resides in austria, but same sprache different land).

and it's well-accepted that words on an internet board give no intonation, especially given how we type in usually the fewest words possible to make our point. the reader construes the words to imply whatever s/he thinks it should come off as. i am always misunderstood when i type. i have a very dry sense of humour, and i could say something in print that is taken to be a grave misconduct, but i meant to be sincere or at worst play a friendly joke. this gets me in heaps of trouble with the girlfriend on msn.

i will concede mike may be somewhat harsh and apparently attempt to belittle other members at times, but i'm sure you can all agree no one here hates each other. and making fun or taking the piss from someone is often just a thinly veiled coping/belonging mechanism. look at mean girls and the burn book. to be cool you have to talk shit about other people. same with some gang initiations. i think mike is just trying to fit in, and the majority of his posts are quite enjoyable. occasionally it gets excessive, but at first glance (to me at least) i still find it mildly funny. remember when lisa throws her shoe at bart and marge can't help but laugh?
