one thing i and others try to fathom is, why don't mystics ever break vegas or win the lottery or take down a six-way accumulator on football or horsies?

and where do ghosts get their clothes from? are just the ghost's clothes our own illusion? the ghost is real but appears how it would be familiar to the one seeing it?

actually the last time I went to the dog track with someone (who for the life of me I could not figure out why they were so fixed on going to a dog track that only had simulcast racing!) I was looking around at all the t.v's and my eyes caught a race a suffolk downs... I looked at him and said "7 and 11.. but play them in both orders, 11&7 and 7&11" .. they looked at me and said you never play horses.. they don't pay.. I said "trust me" and sure enough 11 and 7 came in! I got a "good call" (it paid about 25-30 bucks) "but who do I play for dogs".. I said "as a former vet tech i can tell you one thing.. pick 3 numbers and just play a tri box for every race.. if the stupid dog wants to run after a stuffed rabbit they're never gonna catch then they're gonna run." (dogs when I used to go I would always play 2 7 8 boxed)
that day I picked (literally!) 7 winning horse races all quinella's (if that's how ya spell it) after the second win he had me writing down my bets on the back of his losing ticket as we had ears leaning in everywhere!.. the last race I actually picked the tri and hit that too (also had the quinella on that one!).. while we were walking out the door he handed me $20 and said "good call".. I looked at him and said "I won a heck of alot more than that!" and being the greedy gambler he was/is he said, "no you played the 2,7,8 at raynham dog track all day. !! you always do" i was shocked.. and very disappointed.
My reply was "show me on the back of YOUR losing tickets where I ever wrote down 2 7 8 q box".. and his reply was "you always play that".. I said "I did not write it down because I had a bad feeling about 2 7 8 today...
now I know what your made of!"
And that Happy is a true story! It had taken him ages to invite me out and the very last time I went to the track with him or anyone else for that matter!

Oh and BTW... who ever "saw" a ghost... let alone one in clothes! ROTF

ok, nice one, safe. you call it feelings though and you let someone else take all the profit from your work. a proper mystic and american would hustle using these skills to accumulate the most profits and live easy. i would too, if i knew i could divine the future. i'm just a guesser and an odds man.

Like my signature says., you win some you lose some but think of all the friends you meet along the way"... maybe it should finish with "along the way we find out just who our true friends are!"
water under the bridge... I like to move forward not backwards.. rather look in the rear view mirror ... than rearend the person in front of me!

oh.. and divine the future.. is nobody's business.. personal gain will sink you like a ship...

(personally I like my "gut feeling" most when the redsox are playing... and a batter gets up to the plate.. if I feel it I just say "homerun" .. "grandslam!" ..(my percentage rate is about 95%!). the best was 7th game of the playoffs I think I was the last person left watching.. everyone else thought the redsox were done.... except me..
I knew they were gonna win that last game... (I always said AFraud WAS the CURSE!) Boy did I have a bunch of people turn and look at me liek WTF!?
