Talk about not even getting a reach around first!!
Christy, thank you for your contributions before the ns thread.
Perhaps if you would have posted in 'help wanted', that might have been okay, I don't know. You surely did not post to help others, but to make a buck off the members here. Read the rules, it was spam.
myst111 is not trying to help anyone out, myst is abusing the forum for financial gain. Sending personal messages to people to recruit them to her program and make money. Simple, period, SPAM. Others have been banned for it.
Not so rude, really. I think you are just being defensive because you don't want to admit that you were out to make a buck here, and that ain't what it's about.
I hope you will continue contribute otherwise![]()
I stand corrected, Simmo just said referral codes are okay on forum... where?
i never said i didnt try to make referal money, and beleive me i didnt make but maybe 2 referals from here= 10.00. when i saw the post about the 5.00 to sign up i took advantage of it, just as when other forums post casino links, dont u think they do that to make money, sure everyone does, just like when people sign up for "no deposit bonuses", or "match deposit bonuses". look, unless you are soooo rich you have money pouring out of your pockets, you are looking to make money here and there, but as i have stated in my last dozen posts about this topic, trying to defend my actions, it is a good deal for everyone, myself included. but after you sign up, you too can refer people to sign up thru your card. i am 4 months pregnant and i dont have alot of patience left and i just got really upset cause months ago i posted something "in the wrong spot" and people are still talking about it as though i commited murder or something. geez, get over it!!!! and myst is really just trying to do the same thing and to tell you the truth, i just signed up for another payment option thru her and got 5.00 on that card, and so did she (but i thought it was nice to post- who cares if she gets 5.00, as so did i)

Christy,
I'm not the hall monitor or crossing guard here, I'm just stating my opinion.. I think it's a slippery slope. If you wanted to do something like that (and you've been a member long enough to know) you could just create a web page and put a link to it in your signature. Not advertise your product.
As far as I know anyone who clicks through to a casino from this forum is using CM's affiliate link. It's his site, and it's the least we can do when we sign up at a new casino. There isn't an advertising section here anymore, just links for accreditated casinos.
I'm sorry you took it so personally, and I'm probably going to be admonished for playing 'spam cop' as Bryan said it was His and Simmo's job in another recent thread. I'm just stating an opinion. I think it's spam.
Good luck![]()
There IS a commercial section where members can post unashamed advertising of something that nets them a financial gain. The only rule is that it must not step on Bryan's toes, which means not advertising a casino he already promotes.
If someone mentions in a thread they have problems depositing, it would be OK to mention that you have a solution in the commercial section.
The objection is to the sending of marketing by PM. PM is meant for a private one to one contact between members on something they don't want to discuss in full view of the community. Inboxes have a limit, and if spam gets out of hand then genuine PM's will bounce due to lack of capacity.
If the sending of such marketing PM's was stopped, members might be more forgiving about a little "marketing" in the main forum so long as it was not overdone.
The signature is a good place for advertising your websites, which can then have full-on promotion of your wares (provided signature rules are adhered to). Members have a responsibility not to promote something that is a "rip off", just because it pays well.
Netspend is probably not, but the lure of a free $5 per referral should not allow a blind eye to be turned if Netspend starts looking a bit "dodgy" to the member promoting it.

yes i sent some pms only to the ones asking about methods to deposit or having problems depositing i thought it better than asking for email address in a post and i only explained how netspend works if they dont want it just say no im not inetested that shouldnt be that hard u dont have to take the 5.00 if u dont want it but looks like the gift cards are out now and just trying to help with a method i know works and yes i get a whole 5.00 and so does person signing up
