New member new quesiton regarding casinos and banking....

I used to play at Intercasino and I found their Wire Transfer cashout method ridiculously over-complicated.

Is anyone able to recommend, or does anyone have opinions on who are the least hassle-free casinos when it comes to getting your money out by Wire Transfer, whilst being a reputable casino.

E-cash Direct who takes care of Intercasino's customers financial business require you to do the following when cashing-out by Wire Transfer.

    Instructions
Step 1. Request Cheque Withdrawal: In order to begin the wire transfer withdrawal process, select the withdrawal method "By Cheque" in the dropdown menu above. Complete all the cheque withdrawal screens.

Once complete, contact Customer Support and provide the cheque withdrawal reference number or the transaction number. You must also provide all the information outlined in Step 2. Collect Bank Account Information (see below).

Step 2. Collect Bank Account Information: Please contact your bank for specific instructions on how you can receive bank wires - it is important to note that wire transfer instructions vary by bank. Your bank will provide you with the information listed below. Please keep this information readily available, as you will be required to provide this information for each request

    1. Name of Bank (Provide complete name)
    2. Bank Location (Provide complete address)
    3. Branch Sort Code (Applies only to UK banks)
    4. SWIFT Code (Applies to non-UK banks)
    5. Routing #/ABA # (Applies to non-UK banks)
    6. Name on Bank Account (Your full name)
    7. Bank Account # (Chequing or Savings account #)
    8. Intermediary Bank Info (see note below)

Intermediary Bank Info: Please note some banks can only receive bank wires through Intermediary Banks. If your bank's wire instructions involve an Intermediary Bank, simply provide the bank account information above for (1) your bank and (2) the Intermediary bank. ECash Direct will take all bank account information and process your wire transfer withdrawal request through the Intermediary Bank with 'further credit' (i.e., forwarding) instructions to your bank.

Step 3. Forward a Recent Copy of Your Bank Statement to ECash Direct: Please forward a recent copy of your bank statement (not older than 3 months). The bank statement must match your account information in Step 1. Once we have your bank account information on record, you may simply reference it for future wire transfer withdrawal requests, unless your bank account information has changed.

    Via Email:
    Email customer.verifications@ecashdirect.co.uk.
In the subject line of the email please type, 'Wire Transfer Withdrawal Request - ECash Account # (insert your ECash account #)'

    Via Fax:
    International: (International Dialing Code) 00-357-2255-2500
    North America: 011-357-2255-2500
    Cyprus: +357-2255-2500
In the Attention To: line please type, 'Wire Transfer Withdrawal Request - ECash Account # (insert your ECash account #)'

Step 4. Contact ECash Direct Support: Please contact ECash Direct support for processing of your wire transfer withdrawal request. Please have your bank account information available when you call, toll-free:

    International:
    + 800-0-874-0274
(Please add outbound country code prior to dialing)
    North America: 1-877-874-0274
    Freephone (UK): 00800-0874-0274

Please be aware that certain information may be required to secure the transaction.
Surely that is ridiculous, wire transfers in the real world happen like this.

Me: I want my money now, by Wire Transfer.
Them: Ok, what are your bank details.
    Me: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Them: Ok, money will be processed, please wait 4-5 days for your money.
    Me: Thank you.

Seeing as they have my name, address and other details, when I entered them at registration, and the bank account is in my name. Why all the messing around, calling twice, etc.

Is it just a way to put people off requesting this cash-out method?

    Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    L.O.S.

Obviously it is, no doubt about it! I transfer money to clients often overseas, and an IBAN and SWIFT number to bank does it. No hassle, unless - as they say in the movies... "You want to make something out of it"... Many of the casinoes out there do alot of extra mick mack stalling time, just look at that calculated reverse withdrawal period.

Personally I like the CRT, Visa refunds. When depositing with Visa, you get the withdrawal direclty back on your bank account. That has to be the easiest method in my experience.

    Sawasdee krap, LOS!

Yeah, that may be a bit complicated, but at least you'll get paid What you might try to do is ask them to keep all the documentation on file so that you can shorten the process, or else you'll consider moving your business elsewhere. You should not be required to send a bank statement every time, but if you only have to withdraw by cheque and then send an email to the processor, that wouldn't be so bad.

In case anyone was wondering, Neteller is not an option in Thailand, not even for players visiting from other countries.

Other casinos are likely to have pretty similar requirements so there's not much you can do other than ask them to keep the documents on file - and if they slip up, go somewhere else. It will never be as simple as your example because they still need to protect themselves in case someone gives them incorrect or false information.

I would expect the payment department to be professional, I would also expect them to have done this a gazillion times before (unless we expect nobody accually gets payd, ). Therefore, unless the OP was considering the paperwork which is required every first time one deposits, there shouldnt be any reason for a hazzle unless one wants to make one in my opinion.

I am fully aware that the casinos are strict in only processing against the same person as registered in the casino, however after fulfilling requirements with paperwork the casino should be more than able to do the background check themselves without having to have a dialog going on with their customer. That is, if the casino is supposed to act customer friendly. Given youself imply, "if they slip up", change casino, I feel you are giving room for the fact that they do make a hazzle sometimes for some reason.

Again, I would also expect the larger casinoes, as in 32Red and Spin Palace do not do theese slipups, so it's all about professional management I would think. (As in all other businesses)

Slip ups can and will happen, quite often by accident.

For example, you're entering your address at registration and make a typo without noticing.

Or, perhaps, you're giving details to the customer support person over the phone and somehow a number or letter was left out.

I definitely do not want to give casinos any excuse to delay payments but I am quite certain you will agree that if a slip-up like this occurs you would be even more angry at the extended delay. Even professional operators can't be 100% perfect and they also can't prevent mistakes by other people. Of course, if it happens too often, then you have every right to question whether or not they are playing games with your cash-in.

Maybe so, but Intercasino has no reverse-withdrawal period.

The only hassle free reputable casino I know of is Inetbet. Once they have your info it is about 6 hours til it hits your bank. But I always make sure I cashout by 3 am or you have to wait til the next night. I think they once told me wire transfers are processed every 24 hours where other withdrawal methods are a few times a day! It's been a while since I could cashout there but... my fingers are crossed.
    Good Luck.

Thanks for the great advice all.

Spear you virtually read my mind. I was just about to go to Netteller.com to look into opening an account when I read your post, so thank for the heads up!

Mystic that info is invaluable and I am in the process of checking inetbet out and seeing what their T&C's are.

You have to understand out here in the wild in Thailand things get a little complicated. Thanks again, never-the-less.

Spear could do with your advice.

How do you go about your gaming from here (Thailand).

Althought legally outlawed by the state, the online casinos (via means of Live Help) are willing to accept Thai-based members.

I don't have a Thai credit card or one that is registered to an address, to be more precise. The last thing I need is the complications that will arise by using my British CC over here in Thailand, etc. Online gaming sites track your IP and can tell where you are playing from and I know for a fact that 888.com will suspend your account if the CC you are using and the country you are playing from are not the same.

The main and most favourable option for me is from my Bangkok Bank, bank account.

I looked at inetbet and their minimum on a Wire Transfer deposit is $500 which is too high for my first deposit, or more than I want to spend.

Do you have any other suggestions and who do you use?

Again all advice will be greatly appreciated.

    LOS.

Wow... sorry land of smiles... I checked on this end and minimum wire transfer in is $250.00 your right very steep. If you don't have an account with netteller or any of the other options, you may want to open one.
i have a backup account with a virtual visa company called www.ePassporte.com they are the only virtual visa company that I did not have a problem with they do charge a fee but to me it was worth it as some of the others out there will give you a number that is not valid and you have to fight for what you paid for. I never had a problem with them, except customer support was a bit slow but that was months ago. Or I noticed Inetbets minimun deposit from a checking account is $10 and via credit card/debit card is $1.00 on our end.
Good luck.. I hope you find a deposit methiod. You may want to check out www.ePassporte.com
