    Uninstalling MG Casino

Has anyone else noticed when you uninstall an MG casino it will stall and/or stop responding. Been playing around lately and found this to be true with everyone I downloaded.

I have found if you ignore it for a while it will complete the uninstall within a few minutes. Is that a stalling tactic? My computer was just built for me by a friend and I don't have this problem with any other install.

    Just wondering...

mine also on a few, i hate the ones that you uninstall and then they want you to do a survey on the casino

Yes. During the time when it "freezes" it is actually deleting all the games it has downloaded and stored on your computer. It would be nice if they included that process as part of the progress meter; instead the progress meter quickly reaches 100% and then it sits there for 5 minutes while it's deleting the game files.

Laurie - I agree with the survey thing too. What a pain in the ass.

Mine actually says not responding. If I ignore it it will finish.

    Yup.

You can open up My Computer and navigate to the casino folder in your Program Files directory, and then go into the Global folder within that - and keep refreshing it (F5) to monitor the progress of the folders that it is deleting. At least that way you know it's doing something. Whoever programmed the uninstaller didn't put in any sort of "DoEvents" type of thing to relinquish control to Windows so it's constantly using CPU power and therefore Windows will think that it is "Not Responding" until it completes that process.
