    Hypothetical Question...

Say I was playing at a casino and they 'accidentally' credited me some money. If I gamble with that money and they accept the wagers, should they pay me any wins made from that money?

    Thanks

IMO no. One or two would though. It's like if a bank accidentally credited your account with $1 million, you can bet after they took it back they wouldn't let you keep you the interest on it (in fact if you'd withdrawn some the bank would probably take it back and charge you interest for being overdrawn!)

Yup and charge you for notifying that they were charging you

I have to agree with Simmo and say no it was not your money to wager so any bets should be void.

This has happened to me twice. Twice I told the casino's concerned.

One casino let me keep the money, the second said 'oops' and took it back as quickly as they'd deposited it!

Once, I thought it was the casino's fault. But when I checked my notes and accounts they had merely credited me with one of my deposits which had disappeared from NEteller but hadn't shown up in my account -- from 3 months before.

Once (it was a few hundred dollars) I contacted the casino, told them they didn't owe me that money, the casino said yes they did. I said no they didn't, they said yes ... After 2 weeks of similar exchanges, I gave up, played it, won a little and cashed out.

One casino credited me with $50. After several email exchanges I learned it was part of a previous withdrawal that had gotten 'mislaid'. (Some casinos credit withdrawals in the same amounts of your deposits.)

One casino had credited me with $7.50 -- but I didn't know it. I had deposited $25, played a while, left the money in my account to play later. I go back later, play a bit, and after a few sessions turned it all into $250 and tried to cash out. Then I found out it they had put that itty bitty 'bonus' into my account. Grrrrr. Busted out meeting the last bit of WR, got into an email 'shouting match' with CS and uninstalled the casino. (Note to casinos: Do NOT 'sneak' bonuses into my account!)

My recommendation: Check with CS (more than once if necessary) to clarify the source/reason for the funds.
Alice: But I don't want to go among mad people.
The Cat: Oh, you can't help that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.

    I would live chat them

    Hi

If it were me, I would live chat them to make sure they meant to give me that money. Maybe it was a bonus for your bday or something. That way if it's okay to keep it, you wont be playing with guilt on every bet
