Since this happened, the banks lost a case in the house of lords, they were attempting to get a ruling that they could refuse claims for purchases made outside the UK, but the lawlords would have none of it
The only trick remaining is to say they classed the transaction as a "cash advance" rather than a purchase. Many card companies have artificially done this by claiming gambling transactions to be an "advance of cash", however, this has yet to be rested as "fair", since the "cash" is advanced to a merchant, not the customer, and is done through the credit card processors, not via promotional cheque, indeed, card companies do not, for the most part, even levy the usual advance fee.
Banks are known for taking these disputes "to the wire", but fail to turn up if it gets to court, thus ensuring judgement in the customer's favour without any legal precedent being set. If the amount is significant, and the Ombudsman gets you nowhere, it is worth a try, it will cost £55 if you fail provided the amount is under £5,000.

Thanks, these idiots are based in the UK, so thats the first one down. The other point that it is a withdrawal, isnt really valid, as I was playing with the chips, purchased with the money

Andrew Addison the owner of Roccos UK Entertainment company bought the domain Roccoscasino.com the legend with the most amazing online casino in the industry, and planning to put it up again in Feb this year. The company is located in London UK and planning to upgrade the site to new levels. Roccos online casino is well known for his history of good service and other services that provides players with all the things they need to enjoy the experience a casino player needs, in order to define better the online casino gambling fun. As most casinos don’t realy care about their competitors Roccos just goes along with his willing and things that help him enjoy things as a casino past player. Its all understood when you enter the casino, when you absorb surroundings and can’t let go. UK Entertainment is just like Las-Vegas this days, well, even better since it legal to gamble, while UK gamblers are the best once in the world and don’t like to lose, so that’s the reason they play at Roccos since it must be the only place you can really feel satisfied when you go out.
Not sure if the site was bought or it was taken over (trademark reasons), or just another sham coming up. Anyone know who this is?

IMO it's just another sham. I can't find anything from Google regarding "Roccos UK Entertainment". The only thing that comes up is that (bogus?) press release, and (now dead) links to the old casino.

It's probably the same "owner" that figured out what he did wrong, and is now trying to get more suckers....err....players.

I recieved a letter from the FSA that the CC company is prepared to go half way as a quick way out, eventhough I probably would have won if I would take it through to a tribunal hearing, but I imagine the costs and time are not worth it.

Timing seems perfect with another up and coming Roccos http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...bout-them.html
