What's the point of having play money jackpot ?

Testing purpose ? Before i play real money in a slot for example, i'll try it to see if i can win some.

I always do that, you can then check how many regular payouts, how many different combinations produce winnings etc with out would make it difficult to judge gameplay

It's a good way to practice money management strategies or to learn a game like craps. Kills some time between payouts or paydays too

I never play with the play money . When my mom comes over I set her up with some . If she ever wins a jackpot and realizes it isn't real she will kill me .

Ive done that with a freind of mies kid I babysit that has adhd.
The video slot machine calms him down. I load it up with play money and let him go. One time he hit a big jackpot( he thought it was real) It was like 20 grande, and he told me I can have it , that he wants to help me out.
That was sooo sweet

Ama
