I have seen something similar, my MG casinos simply disappear (unload themselves from RAM) sometimes when I make an action other than "exit casino", such as closing casino mail, switching between games etc.
This has sometimes happened during installation. If one of these "fancy download hinderers" is used, rather than a direct download handled directly by Windows, other problems can ocurr. If the install fails, the downloaded installer file is not in an obvious location. I have found them in my Windows folder in Win98, and in Documents & Settings in XP.
If you have got as far as telling it where to install, or allowing the default, it MAY be there, but failed to create the shortcuts. If so, you can look for it and directly execute "casinogame.exe" to launch it (you can then make your own shortcut).
When launched for the first time, it will still perform a new games update.

When (if?) you successfully install Big Dollar, you may experience some of the other MG bugs detailed in other threads.
If you contact support, they will tell you to do what you have already done, including telling you to install again (this can be done, the MG installer begins by checking for, and removing, previous versions of the casino if found in the location it is told to install to). They MAY refer your issue to MG, who will tell you there is no fault at their end or with the software, and ask you to reinstall.

The "disappearing act" bug has increased after recent updates, and a new bug has emerged, the slots "freezing" during the spin animations for a fraction of a second before continuing (NOT the result of loss of server replies, but a bug in the animation process, either MGS or a new compatability problem) - really annoying but has no effect on outcome. I find this bug raises my stress levels if I am watching the slot.

    Back to port for unloading.
