I am now going to repeat this weeks "completly random" results of playing slots at 32Red or Migrogaming or whatever their called. The W = a win, and the L = a loss

I'm with you Hobo..the last couple of weeks at any MG casino has been poor, at least for both of us. Even received a couple of MG casino birthday gifts today and promptly spun them away faster than I could say Thank You. Very disappointing after having given so much for 2 weeks and being so excited today about possibly getting something back. No such luck. I hope this trend ends soon.

Have you tried any strategies? A good one that comes to mind is: put in a dollar, win a car. Put in another dollar, win another car

Ahh, it sucks to go on a losing streak, I know, we've all been there. I'm assuming you are playing slots? You might want to try mixing up your bet size now and then. If you 'autoplay' and figure you won't hit for another ten spins, eff-em, turn off autoplay, wait 60 seconds and bet 10x what you have been; same as a losing grind but a fat lot better potential win.

If you figure you'll be out 100 credits in the next hour at your regular play, wtf, bet 25 on one, then 2, then 10, then 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 50, whatever, go listen to the news or piss off the balcony in between spins to make it last an hour.

Of course this is assuming you aren't able to hit a feature low-rolling to get you over your initial deposit. If you do that, either quit or keep that profit amount in mind, keep low-rolling, then at a whim increase your bet size to a portion or all of your 'profit' wtf? It's a gamble. It could hit on one of the 10/279 spins just like your LLLLWLLL (I measured, didn't count lol)

If you have 'selective sight' take your usual bet size and spread it over 3 lines instead of 15 or whatever you've been playing, then move it around to to9, 11,7,5, whatever. (it can suck if you hit a free spin feature, but scatters are no problem and if you ignore the lines you don't play it shouldn't piss you off too much when they hit.

And finally, know the variance of the machine you are playing Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) the 'strategies' I mentioned are best for high risk slots to make a great return, or lose your wad. If you want your play to go on and on, choose a low risk slot.

I am returning to my previous pastime of getting up every afternoon, walking outside ...and putting a couple of hundred quid down the storm drain outside my driveway....................its much more entertaining and less disheartning and takes longer than playing slots and losing that amount at 32red. quoting overall figures of 99.9%returns on slots etc etc is all good an well but when your overall return % is based upon 1 or 2 large wins over a 6 month period and the rest of the time its crap, then it just gets fucking tedious and boring and definatly does not have a random feel about it .....boring boring boring

Walk away or better still run then if you still feel the urge come back but in September when there will properly regulated Casinos to chose from.
You will still have losing streaks but at least you can be pretty certain you are not being cheated.

I absolutely agree that MG has been brutal lately, at least to me. I had one winning session a couple of weeks ago, and that was the first one in ages, and there have been MANY losing ones since. Never even getting over your original deposit amount can be very disheartening. But just to clarify, it's not 32Red per se, it is Microgaming casinos period....at least in my experience.

Giving it a break for a bit sounds like a smashing idea.

bloody hell ....steady on Rusty, im not angry mate, just getting bored with the MG games at 32 .... its just they get really boring when you can almost predict the win lose pattern on them.... and its all seems to be to get your average to an expected 95-96% ....which is no good if you have a big win ..because it means unlike a real casino where you can move onto another machine or table .. to start again not knowing the outcome ...with 32 and you know after a big win then you aint gettin squat out of them until they balance your overall average .......so when you complain they come out with the same old line of " years but if you look at your overall average % its blah blah 96%.........over the last 15 years" it just aint random and its bloody boring..... but i aint angry ....just bored with it really.

I like the way you asked that question showing the Ws & Ls...I have always wondered that SAME thing about the whole "random" thing but could never find a way to make anyone understand my question so it was never answered.

If "randomly" you can LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL then why is there never a WWWWWWWWWWWWWW? and why do you get more Ls than Ws anyway if it IS in fact random?

Random to me would be more like red and black on roulette....right???

As soon as I make my deposit I get this sick feeling of "its all down hill from here but which one is going to kill me the SLOWEST". I dont really expect to win BIG....EVER anymore. BUT my husband and I can sit with some wine & play together and have fun without having to leave the house. We both LOVE slots. You might try some of the 'techniques' I mentioned to HoboB up the thread a ways, and be sure to check the linky to get on high variance games.

One thing, that could be all in my head, I've noticed on RTG's is if I let it grind away at .2 or .4 it will just eat it up. Ever notice how sometimes the first reel spins longer than the usual? i think it does that when they reset it to your coins size, again, it could all be in my head. But it seems there is a funky chaotic rhythm you can catch where, right after the 'reset' you bet more, say $1 a couple of times, and it picks up.
Also, other than the 'reset' the first real on a rtg is not random, it is just a verrrrry long real (and they may occasionally swap the first real) but take a game like goldbeard and you can get a pretty good feel for when the pirates face will show up... seldom if ever after a ship, or a chest, rarely after a bird. A9cannon, canQ10, k9Q, AKQ, 10A9, QKJ, A10cannon are good positions on the first reel to increase bet size on. Still no guarantee that you'll get faces on the last reel, but it can at least come up wilds on the first. Also, sometimes I've seen the middle faces stay on for three or four spins after the free spins are over. Another thing that points to 'reset'.

If this is cheating or an exploit, let 'em fix it.

Just did an experiment... logged in went to a real series slot, bet $100 on the first throw. Random jackpot started ticking off like a gas pump, immediately went to $2.00 and the RJ spun like crazy for 5 or 6 spins until the first reel reset, ie spun longer than normal then it clicked much more slowly at the $2 level. hmmm.

FTR, my luck has also been atrocious lately, and not just at 32Red. The payouts definitely suck of late, but I don't blame the casinos, I blame myself for continuing to deposit. I've seen trends like this before, and it always turns around again. But it's not all of us, because some people are hitting some nice wins at 32Red and other MG's and RTG's as witnessed in the Winner's Screenshots thread. My advice would be to give it a rest for a short time, then try again. And try different games...when one isn't hitting, there's usually one that is.

MG in my opinion is going the way ALL large companies go. The bigger the company, the more customers they have, the more of a edge they maintain in any given market usually always means bad things for the customers. When a company is small, they value their customers, they work harder to keep them, the provide better incentives etc etc etc. Mg is just too big for its own boots now in my opinion and they KNOW without a doubt that they are the most popular gaming network around. They also know that by and large most of their customers who lose will go back again and again and again, purely BECAUSE they are the best.

Its a sad fact but the larger the firm the less they care!
