New Slot At SuperSlots - My Tiny Review

    Hey All,

Not sure how many people have been playing this one... But I have and have really taking a liking to it! I would guess I am not the only one since I am fairly picky with slots (especially new ones)

    Anyway - My Thoughts:

X Marks the Spot: This is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot (with a Pirate theme) and a host of features. There is a wild (Pirate) and scatter (Cannon) symbol, Free Spins, and a Bonus game.

Theme: Yep, another Pirate-Themed slot. However, I cannot find a better pirate themed slot out there. With complete theming (all reel icons are actual themed icons instead of the typical numbered reels), this slot seems to have gone out of it's way to ensure that you are immersed in pirate I like it a lot, from the intro 'movies' to the bonus rounds - the theme is very good.

Bonus Round: The bonus round couples the 'pickem' bonus with a gamble type of feature. This is a model that I really like. First, you choose an 'X' so that your pirate can go digging for gold (sprite-like animation for the pirate - not great, but at least it's animated). The pirate then gets another couple of chances to dig for gold. Each time your gold is added to the total for your bonus prize. The fun part... At the end, you have a choice of keeping your prize - or trading it all in for a key to the big Treasure Chest! There are similar bonus features out there, but this one certainly has me playing - it's much better than most of the new slot bonuses out there IMO.

Bet Size: This slot can be played for as little as $0.20 or as much as $200 (when doing a max bet). I played at $2.00, which is where I feel most comfortable on most slots.

Slot Variance: Based upon my play the variance is medium, however I have only spun the reals about 700 times. This, IMO, is not enough to determine true variance. Zoozie could probably figure it out in about 5 seconds, though!

Summary: This is one of the few new slots that I have actually enjoyed playing in a while. It's about time...

(Simple Plug): Please vote for this slot if you like it as well, my voting site (slotsonfire.com) is in my siggy and new slots that are high quality deserve the applause, IMO!

Thanks for helping me doing reviews. I only have time to do the MG reviews and people often ask if I can review new slots on other platforms.

However is this "English Harbour" software??? Yes, I never forget what these crooks did.

But back when I played the software I found the slots extremely boring. They were all very low variance as seeing the payable, this also looks like a low variance one. And they had no feature except the picking feature. No freespins, mechanics(expanding wilds etc.)

It is the same software as English Harbour, yes. I think they have come a long way with both player issues and with slots.

I don't play that many of their slots because I find the bulk of them boring as well. This one I really like, though.

English Harbour was the casino with a "glitch in software update", causing doubling in VP to be right out cheating, as I recall.

KW, my first visit to SOF.C and really enjoyed it. Most affiliate sites are so boilerplate but this site,KK's,and AKA's are some of my favorites.................not shilling, just chillin!

Anyone know of a similar site for B&M slots as I have started to play B&M slots as a way to relax from my hours of BJ play(stop it,Tim..........homey don't play that game}. I am 100% clueless period but 200% to the best, most popular, etc. slots in B&M's. Any reference sites and/or advice (via PM so do not derail thread) appreciated.

Hey - Thanks! I appreciate it It was originally developed so that I could figure out which slots are the most fun to play (based on everyone else's opinions)

It is a fun experiment and I definitely enjoy the site and creating the content for it... Slots are so much fun
