    Microgaming Update

    yes, quite

This doesn't feel like the end of May just yet, but I am getting some monster updates at a few MG casinos. These are double updates, ie, a TRIPLE launch instead of the usual double launch. On the second update launch it takes ages even on my new PC, there is one heck of a lot downloading.

Take Spin Palace as today's example. It has just executed the double launch, and it has taken so long for me to get it that I am writing this post while I wait. When I got in, lo and behold ALL THE GAMES ARE GONE!!!, as in turned "red" or "not installed". They are turning back "blue" pretty quick though.

To put it in a nutshell,

    Microgaming; WTF
    Empty Fruities Astern Capt'n
    Back to port for unloading.
Full Sails - before we get raided ourselves.

This marked the end for Microgaming on Win98 - I have them all on my new PC, and although they still have problems, they are different, and happen faster

They seem to have changed the way they download the games though, the double (or triple) launch takes longer, and it seems the new games download in their entirety, with only a short period of downloading post launch (rather than hours of spluttering slots).
Sadly, they have introduced a NEW problem, whereby the slots and other games slowly degrade the longer you play in a single session, and you are back with, "spluttering and jerking slots". Closing the casino and relaunching clears it.
The EZBonus bug appears to be fixed in SOME casinos, but not others.
