Lobby
Tried it, and it is a backward step in many respects.
There are many points where it is not at all obvious how to get back or forward. One is Banking. When you have deposited, the big bright "back to casino" button that you cannot miss has gone, there is no obvious alternative other than to "continue banking". The answer is the small, white, unhilighted "back" that sits among the advanced buttons. The main feature is a change from game lists to game icons, similar to old Thumper casino lobbies, this causes problems for old PC's as it takes far more power to process these icons than the lists. It is possible to revert to lists with "alternative view", but the lobby does not remember these choices and reverts to icons on relaunch. The lobby also introduced the exit bug that remains unsolved after three months, they have simply stopped replying on the matter, so I assume they have just given up attempting to resolve it. The problem does not happen with Windows XP, so in a sense it will "just go away" if they ignore it long enough. Now ALL MG casinos have the same exit bug on Windows 98, and coincided with the launch of the first download AWP game, "cash n curry". The game states "not compatible with Windows 98 or 95", and thus MG admit the problem is not going to be solved, and all players will need to upgrade to XP shortly, if not now. The only other change is a new parameter called "temperature", added for entertainment purposes. It is a measure of when the last Jackpot was hit, and other than for progressives, is not even entertaining, as for normal slots a more valuable measure of "temperature" would be derived by comparing total wagers with total payouts, as is the current convention for declaring a game "hot" or "cold". Thinking the new "Temperature" in the AllSlots lobby is the same as "what slots are hot" in other casinos is highly misleading, they are derived differently. As well as this, the reading is wrong in many cases, not that it makes any difference given the games are random, aren't they?

I agree, I think the new interface is a huge step backwards. I hope no other group adopts it. It's completely awful.
