What's going on with Playtech and NETeller ?

Does anybody know the reason Playtech casinos stopped processing cashouts by NETeller ???

Is it the high commission ? Is it because they withdrew money from their NETeller and they don't have money there to pay winners ??

Does anybody know the reason ????

To date NETeller is the only way to keep your privacy with the bank, They have the debit card for withdrawals.

Using other online wallet you must use your local bank account , because they don't offer a debit card.

I was told they had problems with some paperwork. Neteller ask them to provide more and more documents...

...at least that seems to be the problem with XXLclubcasino.

I had a friend who had problems with EuropaCasino - they send him an automated email stating that they couldīn t pay him with Neteller.

...a few days later he received his funds - into Neteller

    Hi,

Here an explanation of the situation at least from our point of view. It won't be valid to all Playtech Casinos.

For player payments our processor 800Pay has currently problems with funding their 800Pay accounts, as I trust they have the same problem as for our own XXLClubCasino Neteller account with Neteller requesting proof of origin of any deposit send to them via WT.

This dramatically decreases the payment possibility with Neteller, especially for Affiliate payments as we do not get Neteller payments from players to our XXLClub Neteller account.

For players (not affiliates) the situation is similar put not the same. Players can deposit to the 800Pay Neteller account meaning that funds remind on this account and payments to players (cash outs) can be executed from this account. Due to the currently impossibility to refund this account we ask players to choose a different payment method if ever possible, this for cash management reason. If no other payment option is available to the player 800Pay try to refund the players with neteller.

Players that deposited with Neteller are given the priority over players that deposited with their credit cards and asked pay out with neteller.

Again this is not that we do not want, it's that we can't due to new "crazy" policy setup by neteller with regards to account funding.

I hope this clarify the situation for everybody.

    Odd

This seems very odd, this could possibly happen with ANY online casino, and any payment processor given the same set of circumstances. Since Neteller were set up for the purpose of moving funds related to online gambling, it seems odd that Neteller are causing this frustration for gambling transactions.
So far, XXLClub are the ONLY casino to throw any light on this issue, and the rep should be applauded for this openness, and other casino reps should be encouraged to follow suit. While the explanations may be too technical for some, others will understand and could offer advice.

I have been wondering myself whether this was a short term glitch, or some deeper issue. It now seems it was a policy change at Neteller that has had a knock on effect, in the same way that a policy change means I can no longer withdraw to the bank account I withdrew to all through 2006, and have to request cheques.

I have the same problem with Europa Casino - after requesting a withdrawal I received the following Email:
We are currently experiencing some unavoidable problems with Neteller and thus you may be unable to withdraw via this option.
We do apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.
In any event we kindly ask that you choose from one of the other methods.

so I canceld my withdrawal and lost everything

Caution More Neteller Problems Ahead with ATM card

    Email from Neteller:

    Dear NETELLER Merchant,

In an ongoing effort to keep you informed, we would like to let you know that the third-party provider for the NETELLER Card has very recently advised that under the rules relating to the Cirrus/Maestro Network, it can no longer support those branded cards. Consequently, members with NETELLER Cards will be affected. This should not affect you as a NETELLER merchant.

    Important dates

Effective immediately, members will not be able to withdraw funds from their e-wallet to their NETELLER Card. They will, however, have until May 2, 2007 to use the funds that are presently on their Cards.

We will be sending out an email to all NETELLER Card holders encouraging them to use the funds on their Cards before this date. After May 2, we will credit remaining funds on their cards back to their NETELLER e-wallets.

We regret any inconvenience and are working hard to provide new card services as quickly as possible. Should you have any questions, please contact NETELLER Merchant Business Development, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Thank you for choosing NETELLER.
