Hi!

What the hell is wrong with their?

I get today about 10 times the same spammails and there is a link on it, to unsubscribe.
Certainly i did that, but everytime, when i do this, i get an email from the Vegaspartner Support, that my email is not in their list, so they can't unsubscribe me!?

I think they want to joke me, because i get the mails from their, so how could it be, that i'm not in their list!?

They see my emailadress, so they only must clear it from their spamlist, so where is the problem!?

It go really on my nerves, because i get every hour a spammail from their and it looks like, that it never ends!

Did somebody knows here something about this group?

Thanks!

Certainly i did that,

I've been told never to click on an unsubscribe link in a spam-mail. It just confirms that the spammers have found a real account.

Does anyone know if this is true, or if I have been told the wrong thing?

I know, that i had register and play with an account on crazyvegas and cinema casino and both are on vegaspartner, but why told me the vegaspartner support, that i'm not on their list?

this is, what i'm not understand.

but now i get no more mails about 10 hours, so it's fine at the moment.

i'm waiting up to morning and then i'll see, what's happend ;)

I've always assumed so, although spammers harvest emails from portals, generate random addresses and can occasionally do shady deals that get them player lists.

Going back some time I was naive enough to think that clicking an unsubscribe button would take me off a spamming list, but my recollection is that this only increased the rubbish with which I was being inundated every day at the time.

When I stopped doing the unsubscribe thing the volume definitely seemed to drop, although it took awhile to do so. It may have been coincidence, but since then I've always thought the "unsubscribe" conventional wisdom was right.

Nowadays I think the user is better served with shields and white list software, but spam is a damned intrusion and a nuisance.

Hmm, Im a member of a few of the vegas lounge casinos and i receive their monthly sometimes weekly promotion mails but never had repeated spam like your geting. Are you sure its from vegaspartnerlounge and not an email that closely resembles it? Ive had mails like that a couple of times over the years.
