    Aztec Rising Slot Review

    Hey All,

I have been playing this slot a bit the past 2 days it's been out, so thought I might as well come in and give it a bit of a review

Description: Aztec Rising is a 5 Reel, 25 Payline slot that has both a bonus game AND free spins! The slot is Ancient Egypt themed and does a fairly good job with it. The background graphics and the reel graphics (the ones that are NOT J, Q, K, A) are very nicely done with 3D visuals in some of the cases

Bonus Game: The 'Calendar' symbol is wild (2x multiplier for reels wins) and doubles as the triggering symbol for the bonus game. The bonus game is VERY hot, IMO. You get to pick up to 5 items (out of 5) on the Sun Calendar. When you make your selection, the calendar rotates and selects a position to reveal your prize which is a multiplier for your betsize. I really like the way the 'stone blocks' move and the sound it makes as the stones scrape the walls. Very Indiana Jones / Tomb Raider sounding

Free Spins: The 'Coin' symbol is a scatter which doubles as the Free Spins symbol when 3 or more are present. You can win up to 15, 20, 25 free spins with 3, 4, or 5 coins, respectively.

Graphics: I love the 3D reel graphics and especially love the background graphics for this slot. I also love the graphics for the Sun Calendar bonus game.. Phenomenal.

Sound: The background sound is decent, the reel sounds have been pilfered from some of the other games, but there are a few differences which complete the sound theme. I like, most of all, the sounds on the bonus game when the stones turn.

Theme Overall: It is a decent theme, IMO, for this slot.. I really wish the J, Q, K, A were not there and that they could have used some different sounds for the Scatter vs. the Wild though.

Variance: From basic play (and quite a few hours of it at this point) I would judge the slot as medium-variance. My play, with $100 starting, took me down to the lowest amount at $44 to my highest current amount (shown above at $252).

My Play: I've noticed that, like other Hype slots, when I hit a feature (such as bonus feature or free spins) - I get them in batches of 3 in fairly short order. Usually I raise my betsize during this point, but elected not to since it is a new slot.

NOTE: Do not use 'My Play' as a guideline, I don't want to be responsible if it doesn't happen the same way for you For me, it is what I notice, but I am sure this effect is probably just blind-ass luck.

Anyway - enjoy the review and the screenshot You can, as always, vote for the slot over at SlotsOnFire.com if you enjoy it as much as I have so far!

If you have an inchilli play account, you can try it out there. We have both Hype as a real account (but can't play since we are in the US) and we have inchilli as a play account.

It's always fun to try new games out. Credit is due for this ingeneous way to the forum memeber who gave me a heads up when new games came out and I couldn't try them out for fun, since Hype doesn't allow both fun and real play.

sounds and looks really nice. A pity that i will never play it - for its Hype. And a casino, that shows such a behaviour will NOT see me again.

BTW - the slot is not 'Egyptian-Themed' I tried to find a way to edit my original review, but couldn't.

It is more Aztec Empire - Themed! Sorry about that... I knew this, but for some reason my fingers wanted to type about Egypt.

Anyway - sorry for the mis-statement there.

Why would you want to give them more money knowing that they don't pay timely?
