Was wondering if casino players would like to share Aim and Msn Screennames.

Not sure where to post this thread, but I have no friends on Aol Instant Messenger or Msn Messenger that gamble. One of the reasons I came to love this forum, *for the few weeks I have been here*, was that the people are incredibly nice.

I for one, would love to have some buddies from here that I could chat with occasionally without Pming, but it seems scouting them out is awfully tough.

I don't know if I am out of line for requesting to have a board like this or even if one exists, but I would like to put my Aim and Msn names out there if anyone would be willing to chat occasionally.

I just don't bother with MSN, and I don't use AOL cos it's crap!

PMing can be a pain, as it is not live chat, which I suspect is what you want.

One possibility is SKYPE, this facility can be added to your Casinomeister profile, and provided your buddy is logged on, you can initiate a SKYPE voice call over the internet. This really only works with Broadband, and it helps to have a headset. It is free, only costs what your internet connection is costing.

The only other way is to encourage those you want to chat with to sign up to MSN if they have not done so, and PM you their MSN name. One problem with posting such things publically is that they may be harvested by spammers and misused to bombard you with rubbish that will only waste your time. More recently, restrictions were placed on these chat services to protect children as they could not be properly monitored. If you need to get around these, just ask a child Only the US and Canada were exempted from these, Microsoft imposed it over here - not that it works!

I prefer also Skype and used this from the beginning, as it was a beta version and there you could only speak with it, but no message option or anything else

now you can do all with it, speaking, writing, file sending, video chatting and so on...

and it needs not really much resource, like MSN, because i hate MSN and there are even spammers, when you didn't post your name anywhere, so i don't use it really often!

ICQ is there a little better than MSN, but i prefer SKYPE, because one Messenger, on which one you can do everything, should be enough

I use gtalk and give my adress without doubt. They are good at catching spam.

For chating using foums are better and it is permanent.

I have Skype, MSN, and AOL I prefer MSN, actually, but like the Skype for voice calls - that's pretty nice.

JK girlie! Actually my MSN messenger is tim5ny, just like here! I've never used it actually, but I am a close neighbor just a hop and a skip away in NY. Have you ever been to the Delaware Park casino? Maybe you're too young yet, but that one is pretty big. Lots and lots of slots.
