Severe Anxiety now that's a good reason to start and you don't like the meds.so you don't take them.And if the doctor gave them it was under a doctors order.
professional help = Just go and have a talk and let this all out about the parents.Your the one that told everyone your almost lifes story about them.
With all you said you have a lot of inside baggage I think.
This is a gaming forum and this is where I stop with this because this is going no place.
It's like if I wrote a thread that I had cancer I know I would have many to reply to feel sorry for me and the thread would go on & on.They make a washing machine for dirty laundry.

MY kids wouldn't think of EVER asking me or my husband what we gamble or how much.

I have something about me that makes me want to tell them how I do when I play.

This is the part of the excitement of winning. It's a natural part of they joy and thrill but makes it even better when you can share it with someone "special". Which is what your mother and father do for each other.

My sons and sisters are all meeting us in AC next weekend for our anniversary. We will be at Borgata and I got rooms for our sons at the Harrahs!

Hows that for getting some space . We really don't like "hanging" with each other during our stay but we ALWAYS get together for at least two meals (breakfast and a late dinner) every day and share our experiences, because its fun to hear how all of us are doing, then we all separate and go back out to conquere the machines after making plans on meeting up again.

Doesn't mean I am going to stop asking though.

Maybe it's the way you ask? Try making plans getting together at certain times (after giving them loads of space) to share your experiences and maybe your parents will want to share theirs with you too?
