Winning casinos one Minute, losing the Next?

Has anyone else noticed this trend with any of the microgaming casinos? I have dabbled with other platforms but my main enjoyment is with microgaming sites. I give an example. Im a member of spin palace and im a member of at least 10 different microgaming casinos. I play on all of them but more so with Spin Palace as i have (usually) found them to be fairer than most ( in my opinion). Ive noticed that microgaming casinos can play well for weeks at a time and then suddenly change for no reason at all and play really badly. Last month Spin Palace played really well for me and i have to admit im an enjoyment player and play for fun primarily so my bets are never really that big, still it seemed that no matter what game i played on, the bonus came out repeatedly, no matter the time of day or night. On a single deposit i played for nigh on 3 WEEKS several hours a day, to the point where i was substantially in profit from my single deposit. Then the change came. In the last week ive made several deposits and im lucky if i can coax a bonus out on any of the games, when they do reluctantly appear they award very little.
This is in stark contrast to how Spin palace was playing one day earlier and the subsequent previous 3 weeks. This casino has now been playing bad ( for me anyway) for the last couple of weeks and to be honest im becoming a little dissilusioned. My question is simple, these casinos are supposed to pay out approx 95 -97 % on slots on average so how is it that you can spend a fortune (for me at least)(and i can be very determined lol) and and see almost nothing returned. i dont mind winning and putting back, that is most gamblers problem but to not win anything? at all? in 2 weeks? I honestly dont understand. I begin to see now why many people think that these casino `owners` have the ability to `switch on win mode` to whomever they like, whenever they like with little regard to the actual randomness in wins that they all claim to promote. My last win streak was like nothing id seen before with Spin Palace in 2 years of being a member, likewise ive not ever seen such a bad streak as im seeing now either. I would put it down to this casino alone if i wasnt a member of several other microgaming ones.

    Someone win a jackpot?

I feel your pain and exasperation!

I think somewhere around the forum there was a little chat about how the changes of play happen after a a large hit by a player and this affects the payout percentages for the rest of the players until the win is recovered. Has anyone hit anything large at this casino that has been posted recently?

    Just a thought...
Today is the Tomorrow, you thought about Yesterday...so live as IT IS your last tomorrow!

I feel your pain, and know exactly where you're coming from having experienced the exact same thing.

I just keep telling myself it's identical to Vegas... Some days you can't stop hitting wins, others there's not a Wild Triple Cherry to be seen...

    I guess it's variance... probably

The main reason percentages, especially on slots and video poker and games of pure chance in general, can be so high is variance. High variance = high risk. Search for "variance" on CM - there is a recent thread somewhere.

And there's no accounting for streaks good or bad I read recently that a vegas RNG cycles a minimum of 100 times per second through 4 billion numbers. That's 400 and some odd days before the cycle starts over. In that cycle there are clumps - some little, some big, and there is no way to predict them.
Sometimes you just have to step back and get out of the 'churn', cuz sooner or later the house edge will eat your wallet if you don't

Varience is in the program, ergo high and low varience slot to slot - the happy little RNG churns away the same for a high risk game as a low risk game.

our brain is designed to find patterns. Finding and reognizing patterns is one of the ke abilities which brought us out of caves into casinos ...
And the brains is searching AND FINDING patterns even where there are none.

    Good luck!

We just need to get in touch with our inner cavemen! THAT'S why T_B has been posting screenshots!

LOL, I'm not saying there are patterns in chaos, but there are clumps of 0's and 1's scattered over four billion. If you hit a clump, you're on a streak. There's just no way to know where the clumps are or how long they will last.
