    Unicorn, the new Wagerworks slot

    Hi,

We were expecting from Wagerwors the launch of the powerful Elvis Multistrike IGT's slot (available on Ledgaming for fun) for early Febuary and we've got the poor designed (also IGT's) Unicorn in March.
It's a 20 paying line slot, it has a bonus game, scatters and the expandable Wild feature: when you have a Wild symbol, the Unicorn, appearing on reel 2, 3 and 4 it will expands itself to the entire reel.
I'm very disapointed by the design of the slot...looks so early 2000.
Wagerworks used us to much better designed slots (Monopoly Here and now, Cluedo, Cleopatra, etc...).
I highly appreciate the fact that Wagerworks is giving an estimation of the payback percentage of this slot (96.02 %) in the paytable.
I've seen the game on BlueSQ, I don't know if it's available on all Wagerworks casinos.
It's strange that Unicorn was released before Elvis Multistrike as I remember talking to a Wagerworks staff member (wasn't a rep) in early January and she said to me that they will release Elvis Multistrike in early Febuary.
Somebody knows about this issue ?

I've not touched my Neteller account since all the shenanigans, and I'm saving it PURELY in wait for that Elvis Multistrike Slot... I'm not joking.

I'll go try unicorn in fun play now. Cheers!

Ha! I played this one quite a bit in Vegas! It's a very faithful reproduction of the original slot -- but you're right -- it's not hugely exciting! It is an old machine too!

    Yeah roll on Elvis

Just played Unicorn - yes i've seen worse - the sounds are nice though. The odd thing is, you could understand if Wagerworks took US players why having "real" Vegas slots online would be a huge plus. But as they don't, you'd think it would make more sense to go for innovation in the meantime at least?

Or... A lot of these slots WILL be new and innovative to the large proportion of UK slot fiends, brought up on fruit machines and Blackpool one armed bandits!

This is my best screenshot so far:

It is a very old B&M slot that I saw back in 2001 and I have been talking about
it in my reviews because it is from this one that MG slots 'Chain Mail' and 'Magic Spell' stole their feature.

Pick em coins thing when you hit the two treasure chests. As Zoozie says, exactly the same as Chain Mail etc...

It's a pity they didn't even design a decent animation for the expandable Wild like on MadHatters (MicroGaming) and Outta This World (RTG).
They just puted the 3 same Wild symbols one above the other.

It is a copy of the original slot and that is they way they expand. I have no problems with this.

It was a good slot back in 2001 and probably earned a lot of money for the casinos and therefore it was chosen for the online version. However I would have prefered a new slot with more advanced mechanics and something NEW!
I do have a problem with the insane copying/cloning/feature stealing going on though.
