i have read quite a few articles on the subject of online gambling being legal or illegal in canada, some articles say it is, some say it isnt, one says its in a grey area. while im not from canada i do have friends who live and canada and gamble online and they themselves have no idea if its legal or not
at the risk of sounding stupid...can someone confirm where canada stands on this?

It is truly a grey area (grey=Canadian spelling), it is not illegal unless the servers are run from Canada, hence G-Fed, however since Canadians are not taxed on casino/lottery winnings the govt doesnt really care, but wait, it may not be too long before they do as B&M casinos are popping up everywhere and part of the lotteries aggreements usually 10% goes to the province or community they are built in, so when the govt feels online gaming is keeping all those custs away from the B&M's I believe we will see a change in the laws or at least enforcement.

I did'nt think anything was illegal in Canada
It must hurt to be an educated liberal minded individual living in the States these Days.
Then again Politics over here is in a pretty shabby state at the Mo but at least the majority of people do not think like Neo Conservatives.
