Change in MG GateWay/Processor = Denied cc transactions??

Can anyone shed some light on this (maybe someone in the industry have more specifics) on this recent change?

I can still use my Netspend card at all RTG casinos, but have found that with several MG casinos, the deposit requests are being denied.

I first noticed this with the Roxy Group casinos (Roxy Palace and Casino Splendido), in which I used to deposit using my Netspend card numerous times successfully...until recently. I inquired about this and emailed Roxy's support group, in which they replied (I've bolded a phrase to place emphasis on this issue):

    Dear Cynthia,

Thank you for choosing Roxy Palace Online Casino

The reason for these rejected purchases is that it could be that the transactions are being processed through a different GateWay and it might require purchases in higher increments.
Well, its not higher increments, because I've tried doubling the deposit still to no avail.

I then noticed the denied transaction at Big Dollar casino, and, just recently, the Jackpot Factory casinos (All Slots and First Web).

It must not just be Netspend because I have another prepaid Visa (different bank/brand) in the same situation.

Is this new Gateway a result of all the U.S./deposit hoopla? I've noticed that it says connecting to a third party site during the transaction (can't really remember if its always done that or not). I hope I can still find an MG where I can use these cards...because, this is now my only option (except ECO card but not all MGs take ECO, either...for example, Roxy Group).

If anyone can shed some light on this I really appreciate it...

    Just tried Trident Lounge...denied also.

Only ones I have left are Riverbelle Group, Gold Star Network, Grand Prive and Villento (off the top of my head but I may have left some out)...

    Cynthia,

I've only noticed this 3rd party gateway with CC deposits but not when using debit cards. Is it possible for you to register your Netspend as a debit card?

As far as comparing MG processors, I mentioned in another thread that Grand Prive appears to be the only one for me that is currently accepting my cards. Maybe you should try them out next.

actually for the most part I've had my Netspend registered as a debit card, and added it on to a casino I didn't have it registered on, as a credit card, but neither works, despite the fact it worked before at some of the casinos I already had it listed at.

I tried several other casinos...all the same problem, but about to give Grand Prive a try (even says on its sites/casinos that they have "advanced" processors for a more successful acceptance rate, in so many words)

Here is the reply that I received from Jackpot Factory regarding credit card deposits at their casinos:

Thank you for contacting The Jackpot Factory Group regarding the deposit problems that you are experiencing.

I am sorry to hear that you were unable to deposit with NetSpend pre-paid card. However, please be advised that the new minimum/maximum imposed limit affect all cards, regardless of origin. While I understand your concern regarding depositing larger amounts, I can only advise that you deposit above 100, in order for your deposit to go through.

I haven't tried to deposit over $100 yet, but maybe you could try this.

I have tried all different amounts with my debit card and had no luck. The magic amount now seems to be $33.33. Good Luck!

No offense. The America the Beautiful thread isn't ppg, but it isn't on the search engines either. My opinion is that posting this "who is doing 'what" here is only speeding up our problems and closing the loop before people have a chance to get 'er done. I only mention this because I notice a lot of US posts on this thread.

Okay, I'm ready fer my ass whippin

No offense taken. In fact, I see what you are saying and somewhat agree. There was a thread a little while ago about how we shouldn't be talkin about what works and what's accepted (I think, if I'm not mistaken, started by tim5tiny). I didn't participate much as far as stating what works for me (card names/banks specifically, up until now since it seems the s**t has already hit the fan anyway). I agreed with tim, and now it looks like things have come to surface with the Netspend thing. I guess I'm just looking for confirmation in this "sudden change", in what seems to be in Microgaming casinos ONLY. (Its not the bank denying the cards). So not sure whether or not this is just an MG thing trying to "be on the safe side" similarly to so many casinos that pulled out (somewhat unnecessarily) when that bill was first signed. Tim took a lot of negative posts in disagreement with what he was saying, but I guess now we can see why he posted that thread in the first place.

Thanks, KathyK...the ironic thing now is that we are wishing good luck not only to win but to be able to even get our deposit through in the first place!!
