Jackpot Factory not processing check withdrawals to US Players

Received this ominous e-mail regarding a pending withdrawal:

"Please be advised that from Monday, February 5th, check is not a withdrawal option for players from the US anymore. Our financial department is currently looking for a solution and will have an answer in 48 hours.

Therefore I kindly ask you to contact us again in 48 hours for an answer regarding your recent withdrawal."

Title of thread should be "Jackpot Factory Group", at least I'm assuming it's the whole group. My beleagured withdrawal is from Wild Jack Casino.

The group includes these Microgaming casinos:

    All Slots Casinos
    All Jackpots Casinos
    Wild Jack Casino
    First Web Casino

Well hopefully they will come up with a viable solution which will allow you to receive your withdrawal in another form.

Wouldn't it be possible to write a check from a non-US bank, if no other option exists?

A US$ check would still have to be cleared through the US banking system.

True. But I was thinking that, as a last resort, the check could also be written in a non-US currency, which US banks would deposit and convert to USD.

    Update for US Players

    Last Updated: 7:42 a.m. EST, Tuesday, February 6, 2007

The Jackpot Factory appreciates your business and American players are always welcome at our casinos. In light of NETeller, eCheck, INSTADEBIT, PaySpark and other popular deposit methods withdrawing from the US market, we are actively seeking alternative methods for depositing and withdrawing money from the Jackpot Factory casinos. As the situation is constantly changing, please stay tuned to this page for the latest updates.

Update: As of February 6th, ACH is now available as a withdrawal method for players from the US. Please remember to update your Preferred Method Of Payment inside the Casino software.

Phone support told me they aren't doing checks because their check processor dropped them. I would assume their processor got some heat (or is trying to avoid same) from the US department of enforced hypocrisy.

They also said ACH withdrawals are only available for the next 48 hours. The guy I talked to didn't know why.
