    Appeal to Casino Reps...

Is it possible for the casino reps who monitor this forum to step up and explain to US players what we do now?

If we are able to deposit to your casino using, in my case, a debit card, how exactly will your casino handle any withdrawals?

For me since Click2Pay isn't an option it is important for me to know a check sent via regular mail will always be an option. If this is not the case then please let us know.

Any US player right now who deposits funds into an online casino isn't just gambling their funds on the games but now on the fact they may or may not be able to retrieve their winnings. I like a good challenge but the odds are really stacked against us.

Not what you'd expect from some of the award-winning casinos.

    Reps

Most of your major casino reps are in London or on the way there for the conferences, what a bad time for all this to go down.

I would not expect any kind of clear answers at least until the first week Feb. In the next few weeks you will see many new payment processors pop up and several more leave the market, I think everyone should read and learn as much as they can about new payment processors before signing up for one, there are going to many scams in the future so best to start now being extra careful.

Sorry missed that thread. ::humbles herself before winbig::

Right now I am going on four days of not gambling! I am in serious withdrawal here and I am not kidding! Having to resort to reading a book, watching a movie, or a television show.

Haven't resorted yet to going outside! Oh my! Will I have to do that eventually!

QUOTE: They probably dont know what they are doing themselves yet. UNQUOTE

I think that might be the problem - this situation is developing almost by the hour and no-one wants to pass on information that's inaccurate and could exacerbate the situation even more.

That still does not excuse the lack of communications to players, in my view and this shortcoming is leaving a vacuum that will understandably be filled by speculation.

It's looking like a complete bugger's muddle, exacerbated by the fact that it's a weekend which makes business comms with banks etc difficult.

So far as I can see no-one knows exactly how deep the DoJ action has gone in terms of the banking system, or even if there has been a DoJ *request* to banks. We all know that they have only to contact companies to have everyone scared out of their minds both within and outside the USA.

Or, it could be a case of everyone deciding to follow the Neteller route to be on the safe side.

I can empathise with US payers - this sort of unresolved scenario when your money is involved is stressful and deeply frustrating for everyone.

I'm not sure what anyone expects a casino rep to say? They really don't have any control over payment processors.

The time for the casinos to do something would have been back before this all happened, but it's done, you should concentrate on the future.

First of all, I really think that everyone needs to step back and take a deep breath. Easy for me to say, I know. I'm not trying to be condescending or anything like that. But it seems to me as if there are a hundred different threads all going, topics are overlapping, proper info isn't getting shared.

One, from all recent info gathered, it looks like the only option left at the moment is Click2Pay, and that is only for existing customers. They are not accepting new clients, not that I'm entirely sure I'd want to sign up there, given all the problems.

As to Payspark, I was going to write to them myself and see what they say. If anyone else already has, please post it here.

In regards to credit/debit cards, they seem a viable option for the moment....however if casinos are stopping cheque payouts, how are you going to receive any winnings if you do cashout?

One thing I can almost say for certain is that casino management will be putting their collective heads together to find alternatives for you guys. Reliable and trustworthy alternatives. Not some fly by night operator trying to make a quick buck and preying on people's desperation.

This has been said before, but bears repeating. When Paypal stopped processing gaming transactions, others stepped in to fill the void. This will happen again, but it won't happen overnight. There is no quick fix here. If you're looking to gamble today, it's probably not going to happen.

I posted this in another thread also, but will repeat it here. ICE starts in three days and I'm sure this topic will be the number one priority. Anyone and everyone who matters will be there. I really think that our US members should bite the bullet for now, TRY and accept that you may be better off hanging on to your money, and maybe a week from now when ICE is over....Bryan et al. will come back from London with word of some new (trustworthy) options on the horizon, and some clarification on the whole mess. Again, easy for me to say I know.

Just think twice before giving out your personal/banking info to any site that may just pop up, and that you know nothing about. My two cents worth. And by all means, if any casino reps are privvy to any info that they can share and sheds light on any of this, feel free.

I don't expect the casino reps to solve all the problems or anything like that.

But they should be honest about whether players will get paid. At the very least they should be assuring us of their good intentions and that they are working on solutions to pay out current balances.

Jackpot Factory is reportedly not allowing players to withdraw by paper check. They only have one withdrawal option for US customers (Click2Pay), and that option might close any day (any minute in fact at the current pace of closings). But they don't even mention this on their website or in the casino.

I have to withdrawals pending from MG casinos (Roxy and Splendido) that have been reversible for more than the normal time period. I have received no communication whether they are going to process them. I previously attempted these same wdws thru Neteller (1 day before they closed), but they just left them reversible instead of notifying me that the wdws would be declined.

Cocoa Casino won't process a wdw to Click2Pay if you never deposited with that method, and they don't have any other wdw options for US players.

All the casinos are sending out emails encouraging players to sign up with Click2Pay, but do they even know about all the problems? And what if we take their advice a deposit with a credit card? How would we cashout our winnings? They don't ever mention the cashouts.

While I don't expect the casinos and eWallets to offer a full blown solution, they could at least issue public statements as to how things stand -- at the moment. The only info we're getting from the casinos and payment processors is being relayed from individual players who have been fortunate enough to receive lucid answers to their queries.
