I'm very thankful right now Slotchik, I truly am. And I feel for my American friends, not just because they can't gamble. I have a feeling that will be temporary. But because they are being told they can't gamble, that's the part that really pisses me off.

Of course, if they want to spend an entire paycheque on lotteries or horseracing or a Vegas casino, that's okey dokey.

Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

New York have done this as well! - Ireland too, England to follow and Scotland brought bans in recently. You can still BUY fags though, but you have to be careful where you smoke them. The bans have even gone as far as outlawing special "smoking only" areas on employee health and safety grounds. For example, in a pub, bar staff have to clear glasses and clean tables and would be exposed to smoke even if the area were totally cut off from the main area. Another excuse was that smokers would not use it properly, so it should therefore be illegal to even give them the chance to show that they would use it properly. If you smoke outside, you are then "littering", "make the place look untidy" - so some places even ban that. If you smoke at home, you MAY find your kids taken into care (it was tried by some jobsworth social workers, but they were overruled in the end, except in adoption cases). It will soon be illegal to be fat here - already you are banned from adopting if you are a fatty, even if you don't smoke. Some operations are not allowed for fat people, even if the risk of not operating is worse that of going ahead (point is that the fat patient is not allowed to elect to take the extra risk, but is just told no).
Thankfully, we can at least GAMBLE ONLINE over here Oh, and we can drink ourselves silly all night when we run out of gambling money

Yes I feel for US players in that sense. But if you guys try to get around the situation by signing up at casino/poker rooms by:
    1. putting another country as place of residence, when you actually live in the US,
    2. connecting via proxy server or even directly from the US
    3. try telling them you live both overseas and in the US half the year,

Trust me, their operations guys will lock your account and otherwise ask you to verify your info. It's becoming a trend nowadays for players lying about their country of residence and trying to mask their IP address just to get in on the action. And while I am not an official casino rep, I do work for one of the accredited ones that has banned US players. Actually, to be honest while I am not the one who actually locks players account, I do help spot suspected US players who try to skirt the system and within seconds boom! the account is locked.
And then the players contact us and are up in arms. Sorry guys...we gotta follow the rules.

    Hi everyone,

This is David Brickman Jackpot Factory Spokesperson.

In regards to how US players should deposit at online casino’s, it’s actually an excellent question we and probably every other casino in the industry are trying to sort out. Obviously as a casino this is a priority for us. I will say that there is a lot going on behind the scenes that isn’t being posted for a variety of reasons.

Even more of a priority for us is withdrawals. There is obviously a lot of confusion as to how players will get their winnings. At this point we are exploring various options and are getting new updates literally every hour, which is why we aren’t making posts on our websites. We prefer to gather all the options and then present them to our players.

There is one message which is very important for me to convey: If you are a Jackpot Factory player you have 100% assurances you will get any outstanding funds. It might not come as quickly as you are used to but it will come.

Wish I had more specific for everyone at this time but so far this is it. I will continue to monitor this thread and post new information and I am available via PM as well.

    All the best to everyone,

    David Brickman
    Jackpot Factory Spokesperson.
This was all I was looking for. Some casino reps to step up and simply address the situation. I realize no solutions are at hand, but simply to let the players know they are concerned with our well being. We all are loyal players and deserve to be coddled just a bit.

Thanks David for your thoughtful response!

David Brickman is really cool. I am glad he is on here. He took care of the issue I had at his casino A.S.A.P even the operators were nice to me again when I called lol. If there is a way to deposit again David will find one. I am glad I signed up 2 days ago at click2pay before they put a stop to new U.S. sign ups. But who knows how long they will last and I hate to have to rely one company to use. We will wait to see what David finds out and hopefully this will not be the end of on line gaming.

LVS's SANDS PAID FOR ITSELF IN THE FIRST YEAR IN MACAU.Table game revenues per table were at one time 4 times that of The Venetian in Vegas. They are involved in 7 or 8 more Macau ventures including the multi billion dollar Venetian in Macau..........
The HO family or rather the STDM brought it upon themselves as their customer service was so appalling that Virtual or most RTGs would probably pale in comparison. You wouldnt believe how shabbily you could be treated so if Macau could get rid of them, it would be great. I went to Wynn recently and it was a fine experience. I shall be going to the SANDS and a couple of others on my next visit and hopefully win a few quid to fund my expenses there.

Would you explain why you cannot pay by cheque?
