    More BelleRock Bullsh*t

Yet again I have received highly misleading advertising E-mail DIRECT from RiverBelle casino. It "reminds" me that there is "up to £250" waiting for me as a UK player due to their being also a monthly match bonus at both Lucky Nugget and the Gaming Club. It also mentions that Jackpot City offer a £50 sign-up.
Naturally, this would be true BUT for the fact that the T & C state I can only ever have ONE of the monthly matches, which I normally take at Riverbelle. Thus, the most that could be available to me is £75 per month, this being the largest amount offered as a monthly match.

I received similar misleading mailings earlier, but support have NEVER dealt with my complaint.

Not only are these mailing highly misleading, they are ILLEGAL under UK and European advertising law, as they give the misleading impression that ALL bonuses can be taken simultaneously if players download all 4 casinos to take the three monthly matches each month.
Business may be bad, but it is no excuse for breaking the laws on advertising accuracy and content!

My two complaints do NOT include the now infamous "1c 1 line" fiasco, that would be THREE misleading advertisements in 2 months for BelleRock.

I'm not saying its right but you can see how it happened...an automated mailer for each casino to each player without cross-checking. It should check email address matches at least or put a disclaimer in the email to say only one bonus across the group.

    ???

From what I understand about the post, it was advertising all of the casinos in one email. Why would they need to cross reference email addresses with accounts at the different casinos?

Either way, if there's no disclaimer in the email itself, it's rogue behavior for sure.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

    Objection

My objection is that it advertised with the subject line "up to £250". This is directly against the terms from within the actual casinos. The £250 assumes taking the sign-up for Jackpot City, and each of the three monthly matches for RiverBelle (£75), Lucky Nugget (£50), and Gaming Club (£75). Sadly, it is simply not allowed to have the monthly match at all three, but at only one, so the most that could possibly be available to an individual player is £75 (best monthly) + £50 (If they have yet to sign up at Jackpot City). It is misleading as I would only find out once I had reinstalled the casinos, made the other deposits of £75 and £50, and then had the claim fail because I have already used it at RiverBelle. I already accept that I would not qualify for the bonus at Jackpot City, and this is advertised as a sign-up, however, the other three are clearly advertised as ongoing monthly matches, and it would be reasonable to conclude from this, and the subject line, that the mailer is attempting to elicit deposits at all three monthly match casinos for all three bonuses.
The base of the mailer states the advertiser as being Carmen Media, so they designed it and should be aware of their own T & C that mean the offer should only have been titled "up to £125" and not "up to £250". Because THEY send these direct, it is impossible to use any sensible spam filtering identifiers to mark the offer as suspect. I wonder if they are doing this to bypass their affiliates, whose "spam" will likely be trashed by most filters. It's an unfair advantage, they are effectively able to "spam" their existing player base from the casino support & promotion addresses, which are unlikely to be filtered out by players waiting for the next promotion.
They sent me a similar misleading mailer only a couple of weeks ago, yet fail to send any mailer for the monthly match at my EXISTING account with RiverBelle, nor any mailers related to other player promotions (perhaps they have none, bankrupted by the Gift Rap take up last year )
