auction for points to use towards bonus's

I love bidding in the auction for gg points. It sooths my urge to gamble too much. Does anyone know if there is another site out there this that does the same thing? Im out of gg points and want to play somemore but am not ready to purchase. Thanks

    Forum

If you look in the GG forum, there is a section where other sites can be mentioned, a bit like Casinomeister's "strictly commercial". {edit} It is under "Contests & Competitions".

There ARE indeed other sites that offer "free" money at some casinos, however there is the danger that a casino will issue a bonus ban if you obtain free money through more than one affiliate offering such a scheme.

I have heard of a site by the name of "casino crush", that seems to offer extra free money through tournaments, and it might be worth looking to see if Simmo is currently running some events at SlotJunkies. The US law has hit these types of event very hard, there is less free money around as less players are contributing to casino profits. This may balance out as more players join from outside the US to replace those lost to the casino (many hope this loss is temporary).

For those who are wondering, GG is GoneGambling, a site offering free games for points, and also awards points in the form of scratchcard style game vouchers for such activities as opening new casino accounts or making purchases at existing casino accounts.

Have a look also at KasinoKings site - designed with low rollers in mind, and issues "KasinoKredits" I believe. I have not looked there for ages, too busy whipping the hell out of Xmas promotions

Thks Vw...I read about a few people that have been penalized for using gg points for bonus conversion...too bad ..the Casinos are pressuring for more new signups , they get them with these enticements then shut down their bonuses priviledges for using them 2 or three times! (hmm sounds familiar) Sick. I have to be honest, I have never used my points for a bonus or purchased a signup at auction. I play for the sheer enjoyment of gathering the points. (then I lose them all!) Its just like gambling with real money. I think its time to go to a casino and play for free. Ive been staying away from them for a couple of months now.

I believe what Microsoft have discontinued is the old "Virtual Machine" MS Java console. JAVA is now distributed by SUN Microsystems, and is very much alive. SUN Java is now the standard, and errors with it are much less frequent. A while ago, SUN obtained a legal judgement against Microsoft to prevent it continuing to develop it's own "Java", and since then Microsoft are legally bound to refer users to SUN if they ask about it. The last build of the Virtual Machine is available on an "as was" basis, including any remaining bugs.

Installing SUN Java should enable you to play on Java websites, and it can be removed if you get fed up with it. SUN Java will also install it's own "Java Console", which can be accessed from Control Panel and allows some settings to be changed to suit the user.

I have been using the SUN Java plug-in with my Windows 98 PC, and see no reason why I will not be doing so on my new machine, due in about a week.

Microsoft got busted for bundling the OS install with too much of their own crap software. So their had to remove their Java version and of course they did not want to distribute it with the SUN version.

Java is really safe nowadays. It is much much safer than the ActiveX/Flash you probably use daily in IE anyway. And finally I have to add that you should also use Firefox instead of IE.

I have installed Firefox (it's free), and the only problem is with sites that require ActiveX, as Firefox does not come with ActiveX support as standard. I have tried IE 7 on my other XP machine, and it looks like Firefox did last year with tabbed browsing.
Microgaming casinos seem unable to recognise Firefox, and still use IE to display it's lobby webpages. There is now a third party ActiveX plug in for Firefox, so this issue can be overcome. I have looked at the consequences of removing IE entirely, but in Windows 98 it seems so much a part of the OS that I expect nothing will work afterwards. An EU ruling seeks to prevent Microsoft from programming this kind of interdependency in future, and say that MS must offer a Windows OS variant that can work without any of the "extras" needing to be installed (Media Player, IE, Outlook Express etc).

In the end, I decided not to be mean when ordering my new PC, I went pretty much to the top of the range for a general purpose home entertainment PC. I did not go for the next level though, the extreme gaming machines with dual graphics cards, crossfire, and quad core processors. I DID, however, consider the future of Microgaming casinos, opting for dual 320Gig hard drives
(I have the vain hope that MGS will leave me room for my photos, music, and videos, currently forced offline on to CDs).

You may know about it already, but there is an add-on called IE Tab which enables you to view pages in IE through Firefox, which will also enable you to play flash MG casinos.

Unfortunately, MG casinos won't work in an IE tab, at least not for me.
