Anyone here run their own online casino?

It seems to me that it is a saturated market. I keep hearing stories of millions being earned and top affiliates earning thousands a month.

Maybe it's better to get one's own software and licence and then have an affiliate programme. How much dosh is needed to start up?

What you are talking about is "white label" casinos, a "hit-and-run" solution offered to affiliates by some programs, something we discussed recently.

White labels clutter up the web with more crappy casino clones, adds to the confusion for players and is little more than a cheap marketing tactic. The affiliate gets suckered in by the idea of becoming Calvin Ayre Jnr, ends up with all their eggs in one fragile basket, something like the UIGEA comes along and *bang* there's a big mess of yolk on the floor and all the babes in bikinis go running off to sugar daddy.

Oh and in case you hadn't guessed, I'm not a fan

Those are not the worst, at least we know what they are and they have a company behind them.

There are a ton you can buy for from $100 to thousands, with weird software and no backing at all.

They have no chance of getting affs to promote them, and marketing these is almost impossible. They are a complete rip off for everyone concerned, the "casino owner" as well as the player.

    Total trash.
