Music Hall Casino - Your thoughts?

    Happy new year everyone!

About a week ago I was browsing the accredited casino list and decided to give Music Hall Casino a shot. I haven't really played any MG casinos before since I've always been a bit of a Playtech fan(I know, I know). I opened an account and within a few hours I cashed out roughly 5k from playing Atlantic City Blackjack. I was quite pleased with the experience and thought the gameplay was par with any Playtech I've used in the past.

Other than a glitch about support being able to find my account when I submitted my request(apparently a problem viewing accounts created within the last 24 hours), the following afternoon that issue was corrected. I received several emails notifying me of my documentation being approved and stuff like that. So the communication seems to be good so far....

    Here are my questions/concerns:

I made the withdrawl request on 12/24 and was told it would take 7 working days until my withdrawl is processed due to the fact I used Citadel for my deposit method. Obviously there are a couple bank hollidays mixed in those 7 days so the wait seems like an eternity.

Has everyone had a good experience with Music Hall paying out in a timely manner?

I just had another great run with them today and cashed out another 6k, but now I'm nervous that the 2nd withdrawl and subsequent deposits will slow down my original withdrawl.

Sharing your experiences would be very helpful and make me feel better.

I will keep you all informed as to how long it takes for them to pay and how the support staff handles me.

    Great run "milemaster"!

Based on my experience playing there, they DO and ALWAYS pay! You have nothing to worry about, and I'm positive that you'll get paid.

It's too late, but had you used NeTeller, they offer instant withdrawals.

Hmmm, by the way, you're not the only poster who's played his fair share of PlayTech. I feel like I should feel ashamed for saying so, but it's been very generous to me in '06.

    Music Hall

I have reached the top VIP level here, and they pay more reliably than Jackpot Factory. Neteller is a great option for this group due to the instant withdrawals. However, in the case of runs of 5K and 6K for a new player, the instant limits would be far too low. Top VIP players can withdraw GBP 2000 once every 24 hours. I am not sure if they allow more for dollars or whether it is still 2000 credits.
Terms have recently changed. Bonus WR have dropped back to the standard 30x on slots, but Table Poker is 25% and VP & BJ 5%. Platinum VIP players have a 20x WR (25x at Gold). VIP status is earned based on the number of loyalty points earned per month.
The very top VIP's have a mere 10x WR, this is by invitation only, and seems their equivalent of 32Red's Club Rouge.

Incidentally, I noticed that this group are being sold back to the original vendors (Tusk) due to the changes in the US. There is a hint that some further restructuring may take place. This might be similar to what happened last time with Phoenician and Aztec Riches being sold on to Casino Rewards. A definite intention to keep Music Hall and UK Casino Club is mentioned in the article.

The main problem with this group is the occasional "Casino Accident" in their "Casino Action" branded promotions. 2005/6 saw the debacle of the botched Blackjack tournament, cancelled TWICE at short notice, along with their Christmas deposit & wager contest which started as first past the post (most deposits & wagers), and somehow became a lucky draw, annoying players who had thrown deposits at it in an effort to win the $10,000 "with no WR". This year has not been too bad recently, the only accident being the failure to initiate the "12" in the promotional calendar, although the top prize was indeed won and paid.

Some may worry about the lack of general phone support, as they use E-mail and live chat. Fortunately, their e-mail service is better than pretty much every other online casino, with an automatic ticket issued on receipt, and well over 80% replied to within half to one hour. The weak link seeming to be when issues have to be forwarded to management level.

    The full set are:-

    Challenge
    Golden Reef
    Music Hall
    Nostalgia
    UK Casino Club

iBig is a Japanese language casino of theirs

They also have poker metro and beach club for poker (not that I play online poker much - as in ONCE!)
    Empty Fruities Astern Capt'n
    Back to port for unloading.
Full Sails - before we get raided ourselves.

I was lead to believe that VIP's could request a manual flush when over this limit, though it isn't instant in the same sense as the automated withdrawals. I think the lower limit for new players is 2 withdrawals up to $500 per week on the "instant neteller" promotion, though obviously there are no limits to withdrawals in other circumstances.

I concur - they are a good group, pay promptly and have a good rep. I think once you are over the ID hurdle, you will decide that you chose well

Yes, VIP's can withdraw the weekly allowance in one go and have it flushed. If the flush is done early enough, it makes it to Neteller the next day. Processing is normally done once a day around midnight EST, and arrives in Neteller around 2am EST. Processing is not done at weekends though, and a flush on Saturday normally arrives on Monday (Tuesday in the case of this Monday due to it being a holiday).
The weekly allowance is 14000 credits, it used to be 10000, but also VIP's could then have up to 2500 instantly per day. The change brings these inconsistencies into line (14000 at 2000 per day).

They have tweaked the T & C for new players to prevent taking advantage of the system. Stepped bonuses are restricted based on the first deposit made, so new players cannot deposit a nominal 20 credits for the 25% bonus expecting to lump in with the full amount for the 50% and 100% second and third bonuses. The terms detail this very example, and show how the second and third bonuses are calculated.

I recently attacked the Music Hall's bonus. I ended up winning, and they did pay. It took a little while, and then I got an email that the withdrawal was denied, but then I chatted with a CSR and he said that was a glitch in measuring playthrough or something, and everything was find. So I requested a withdrawal again, and it was processed without incident.

Fairly standard microgaming experience, far as I'm concerned. One thing curious to me about the group is some of the casinos in the group had the "3-pack" sign up bonuses, and some didn't.

Thank you everyone for your rapid replies.

Just wanted to update all of you and share that I was paid this morning on my initial 5k withdrawl. Interestingly, it was 200.00 short because I had deposited that amount using instadebit. Apparently they are required to pay back winnings through in whatever amount I deposited originally using that method. According to their support that is part of their agreement with Instadebit.

Needless to say that's no big deal.

What puzzles me is the email I received shortly after I initiated my 6k withdrawl this morning. It basically stated that I can only withdraw 10k in a calendar week and that only 5k out of the 6k would be paid. That's cool with me, but my 1st withdrawl request was made on 12/24 and this most recent one was made today 1/02 so I'm confused.

The email also seemed to group the amounts together in the greeting portion of the email:

"We have received your request for a cashin at Music Hall for $11000.00 on January 2nd 2007."

Like I said before I've never really played any MG casinos in the past, but is this normal?

Well now Trish is onboard she may be able to confirm this - or VWM - it may be different for VIP's. As far as I was aware, Casino Rewards group was the only Microgaming group to impose cashout restrictions on "normal" play - a paltry $4k a week. I'm wondering if the email you received applies to Instant Neteller only as I know Neteller impose certain limits and restrictions on both consumer and merchant accounts. My guess is that the $10k limit won't apply with Casino Action if you are using anything other than the Instant Neteller withdrawal method.

    Thumbs up

I've been playing much more frequently at Music Hall and UK Casino Club since the ordeal with US players went into effect. The only two complaints I have is that it seems like it takes forever for the comp points to accumulate no matter how much I'm betting. The other thing is there haven't been any bonus' or rewards for playing there this past year. Previous years there would be competitions whether a free slot tournament or blackjack tournament which was an added enticement to continue playing at these casinos. However, that may be about to change with Trish coming on board. All in all though, I love the instant neteller withdrawal. Good Luck!
