Auto-Play vs. Single Clicks! (MG)

Taking the idea from another thread, I thought this would make an interesting subject because I've always noticed a peculiar pattern when using auto-play compared with single-clicking. Here's my quote from another thread.......

" I find that on T-Struck and the clones, when I use 5 or 10 spin auto, it will 90% of the time hit the bonus on either the first or last spin if it's going to come in at all. On Mega-Moolah, the spin bonus comes in on the last spin of auto-play almost everytime if it's going to hit. Seems like that shouldn't be so in a random game. Although I have my suspicions about this, I find it too tiresome to do single clicks for thousands of spins... so I almost always press the spin 5 times button."

What are your thoughts and experiences?

I mainly use autoplay though recently I have been doing a fair few single click sessions too...til i get bored I have noticed that the last spin before i run out of money seems to be the money shot normally - dont ask me why.

Autospinning is essential to my strategy else I have to count manually and it only needs the phone to ring or someone to IM me and I'm stuffed. Memory of a goldfish me Memory of a goldfish me It only needs the phone to ring or someone to IM me and I'm stuffed. Memory of a goldfish me I mainly use autoplay.....

I ca'nt think of any reason a Casino would want the software to treat autoplay any differently to manual or any reason the Software would run differently. So I have to believe there is no difference.

I agree with your statement but find that in actuality my previous observations hold true in my experiences.

I would be scared if autoplay indeed had an advantage over clicking for every single spin. That's a definite sign of a rigged game. Or, on the other hand, maybe with autoplay, the seeds generated for the RNG are similar, which has something to do with the payout? No idea

I've heard several last spin stories along those lines. For example, Gaahl's $2000+ Thunderstruck win on the final spin before running out of money, after having played hundreds of spins and lost $1000+ to the game.

Or, maybe it's just more memorable to hit a big win on the last spin before you're broke? IE: You're going to remember those few instances when it happened more than the other 500+ times it didn't. In other words, for every one player that wins on that last spin for the session, there's hundreds of players using their "last spin" that net either zero, or a very little amount.

That's like me and certain songs from the 1980's that I loved. I can remember almost every word to those songs, but can't remember hardly any other songs from that era that I didn't like, even though I've probably heard them dozens (if not hundreds) of times.
