Help me interpret this bonus's T&C

Let's say you have a 200% sticky/phantom bonus that is deleted on withdrawal. And let's say one of the conditions on the bonus is "Max cashout is 10X deposited amount." Let's say you deposit $100, get a $200 bonus, and then run your chipcount up to $1600. Now let's say you request a withdrawal.

How much should the cashout be, given the traditional interpretation of "max cashout" provisos? I have not bumped into them before.

I believe that your max cashout would be $1000. And now the big "But".You often have to meet the wagering requirements of around 20 times the bonus plus deposit.( Sometimes even more on these types of bonuses). You did not post what the requirements were but if they are 20 times then 300 x20=$6000 wager requirements before any cashout.

Yes max cashout is $1000.00. I have had the unfortunate circumstance to win much more than the 10X. That is why I hesitate to take any bonuses now.

It is easier with the MG casinos to meet the WR. At a RTG forget it.

Okay. Just needed the reality check before I leapt into a fit of righteous indignation.

In actuality, my deposit was $115, the bonus was about $280, and the max cashout was merely 5x (if blackjack is played). and I then proceeded to run the chipcount up to $1600.

So, while I'm happy that I got the $575 cashout, I'm angry at myself for playing the bonus way more aggressively than I should have.

And hell, I could have done about $1000 in spins on slots or something before requesting the cashout!

Depending on the casino, you might want to look into playing out the money to build up comp points.

Once you get down to that max withdrawal, you can withdraw. After that goes through, you could see how many comp points you have and whether they have a WR attached to them.

If they don't, and depending on how much you've built up, it might be something to start some more play on.

Could it be 10X Deposit ($1,000.00) minus the sticky $200.00 = $800.00?

Resurrecting the old thread because I had the same thing happen again.

Was lucky enough to end up a couple of hundred over the max cashout on a bonus. It was a "table game" coupon, so, I just began playing random table games that I hadn't even tried before, let it ride, three card poker, war (heh), red dog.

After while, I had trouble losing enough money to get down to a fully cashable level. I had to start betting pretty darn big to finally knock my balance down (yeah, I know, woe is me). Finally, when I got close, I started employing anti-martingale betting scheme (increase bet on each win, so that when I finally lost, it would be back at the target point).

It was a very through the looking glass moment.

Rhino, it sounds like you are on a serious rush. I am very jealous of your problems.

Did you work on the comp points angle Macgyver suggested? If so, how did that pan out?

To be honest, this particular casino is sooo slow in paying that by the time I get the money, there will probably be a better new month's bonus in place, so comp points are just kind of chump change. But the extra wagering has two other purposes.

1) It generally increases the casino's perception of my wagering level, which may make me look like a "high roller" (in a B&M casino, it would probably earn you comps)

2) It serves as camouflage, instead of just wagering the minimum for the terms of the bonus, this time I probably overshot by like 25%.

I should have at least checked to see if I was making comp points on the deal.

Oh, and as far as overall luck, I don't want to show off, I mean, I generally bust out, nearly instantly, 2/3 of the time. That, however, usually doesn't get me caught up in T&C's at the casinos.

The main gist was that since I was over the max cashout mode, I was effectively in "play mode", and could just fart around (avoiding restricted games) and play until my balance got down to the max I could cashout anyway. It was kind of nice (Got to learn optimum strategy for Red Dog and Three card poker in the process)
