I have "lifetime" figures for the last 3 years, but not broken down annually. Overall down, but seem to have ended this year on a nice upswing.
I find it hard to believe even the most dedicated bonus whore is up 40K in only a year, and a year where the bonuses and terms are so tight.
$40,000 is quite possible.
The expected value of the quality monthly bonuses was in the neighborhood of $800 this year (more for non US currencies).
The Grand Prive casinos offered a weekly or 2x per week that was as much as $300 100% match for much of the year. Note that this was not consistently available. Other casinos have a regularly weekly bonus as well. I'll say an expected value of $200/week from such bonuses , which is likely a low estimate.
There were miscellaneous special promotions throughout the year, such as Mansion's $1000 riskless bet at the start of the football season and Christmas bonuses. I'll estimate an expected value of $5000 over the course of the year from such bonsues.
So far that is $800x12 + $200x52 + $5000 = $25,000
If a new player, played through all the signup bonuses as well, the expected value of the total would be in the neigborhood of $40,000. If euros or pounds were used, the expected value would be over $40,000. If a player also played poker and/or sportsbook bonuses, the expected value would be over $40,000. If a player was on the positive side of variance, the gain would be over $40,000
I kept detailed records in my log on this forum when I started out (I have not been keeping consistent records in recent months). It shows my progress from ~$3,000 to ~$35,000. I have had extremely good luck at some points, such as winning with 12 out of 13 Grand Prive bonuses in a period of 2 weeks during October. However, I've also lost thousands due to foolish errors, ignored offers, playing without bonuses, etc. I lost even more due to missed offers related to residing in the United States and not starting until the year was almost half over.
