not too wild about them either, and they evidently aren't paying out "EXTRA big" in lieu of their not offering bonuses/gifts from Christmas. Haven't hit a single thing (besides ONE good round, but all downhill from there, as if their slots are "tightened" extra tight.
I REALLY don't appreciate their nonchalant and stingy attitude that reflects in their mail posted earlier in their thread. As for the word "trivial"...maybe they are against Christmas or just don't care about the players (don't mean to start anything here, but a few choice words come to mind)

Hi and merry Christmas all,
Holding casinos to ransom in this manner is not really the best way to go about things.
Firstly, just because you deposited 60k last year, does not mean you will deposit 60k in 2007. Or do you intend setting up a direct debit or standing order when your new casino placates you with big bonus's?
Secondly depositing 60k over a year in my book, yes makes you a high roller, but it does not necessarily mean you are a loyal customer. A loyal customer is someone who makes regular deposits (no matter how small) and plays in the casino frequently. With table limits becoming ever higher 60k could be just 60 hands of Blackjack, over 60 minutes of playing time!
If you really are a shrewd player, then to me the solution is obvious.
Spread your bankroll across many casinos, instead of sticking all your eggs in one basket.
I am a lowish roller, I like many others on here never got a Christmas bonus. But the difference is, I wasn't expecting anything, so anything I do receive would be a surprise, not an expectation.![]()

I really appreciate everyone's input on this, it means a lot to see people sharing their experiences about their treament at the FL.
I'm still flabbergasted by Sean (CSR) response:
I can understand that you feeling frustrated at the moment however the
Fortune Lounge Group of casinos have sign up offers on the casinos and
poker rooms; the terms and conditions are agreed to when registering any
account.
The Fortune Lounge Group of casinos is not obligated to credit any
amount of money no matter how trivial outside of the offers which ALL
players agreed to when registering their accounts.
If there is anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate
to contact us.
Kind Regards,

Well seeing we're airing our FL washing... Get this, this is the response I received from my enquiry regarding the Christmas Bonus:
Hi Dave
Thank you so much for your warm wishes - I have forwarded your e-mail to all of them and I am sure that they will appreciate your wishes for the festive season.
Dave, as far as I know there has not been any additional Christmas bonuses sent out and unfortunately I am not able to credit any bonus to your account at this stage from my side. I am so sorry about that!
I hope that you will have a fabulous Christmas and wonderful 2007 and look forward to speaking to you again soon!
Thank you for choosing the Fortune Lounge!
Regards and best wishes,
Menissa

Least I say that a further 4 - 5 emails traversed the cyber highway pertaining to this subject. One of which Menissa stated there was NO floor manager on duty...Obviously thinks I'm a gullible town idiot too![]()
I think the reason was that they were very aggresive with their marketing. When I started playing a few years ago, the first MG casinos I came across was 7 Sultans, Royal Vegas and Vegas Palms and they did have quite nice sign-up bonuses. I havent played with them since my accounts were locked for security reasons. Although they have been reopened since I objected, I am still wary. Just stating the obvious, stay with 32 RED and you wont go wrong.
Even if Trezz got a 1k Christmas bonus from FL for his 60k, he is still well short of what he could have had if he had of hedged his bankroll across different casinos.
He could have had 2 dozen smaller bonus's and still have been a loyal player at all of them, by making regular but smaller deposits. Afterall you can build up a decent bankroll from a low 3 figure sum, if your patient.
Just my thoughts

Whatever happened to Christmas being the season of giving rather than the season of entitlement?![]()

I don't abuse bonuses, I just shake the sh!t out of 'em!
My yearly bankroll is around the $60K+ mark.
You gamble more money a year than my husband makes in a year!
the simple answer to this is, (especially with the responses you've gotten from them), never forget this and the best way to show it is to play primarily at a different casino group. You ever notice those emails that try to lure you back "Noticed you haven't deposited in awhile...so here's so much free" type of thing. Money talks.
The merriment of Christmas being turned into hard-nosed business. Sigh!
