Gift Rap 100 Free Spins

I am playing the Lucky Nugget Casino and yesterday noticed they had a promotion running for 100 free spins on the Gift Rap slot. It is running for all the casinos in the BelleRock Group.

Today I called them to find out if I had met the requirements of the promotion, 1000 credits wagered, which I had. Then I asked how much would we be allowed to bet per spin. The tech had no clue and had to ask. He came back and said $.50 per line. That is the max bet on that slot.

I am wondering if the tech got it right because that is a huge amount to allow us to wager in 100 spins.

Anyway I will get an email on the 12th to let me know my spins are available so I will let you know if that is the actual amount allowed. Also, hopefully some screenshots of some wins. One can only hope.

I had this at Captain Cooks for another slot, but also RiverBelle is doing the free spins on Gift Rap.

It is down to a new feature that Microgaming have introduced to some of the slot games. Casinos can give a bonus as so many free spins at a fixed stake; all wins go into the bonus account. It is a bit like a big feature round. The free spins are played in the real account rather than a Flash insert.

To get them once allocated, just load the slot as if you were going to play it with your own money, you will then get a screen telling you that free spins have been added. You can play them straight away, or save them for later. The offer page will specify the stake per spin, and I expect that the 50c you were quoted was per SPIN, not per line, equivalent to a $50 bonus, but with a chance of more or less.

I have also played for this in RiverBelle, so I will see if it works as it should. All the BelleRock free spins expire after a week.

Wild Jack had a promo with 25 free spins of Gift wrap. (no deposit needed). Each spin was max lines, 50 cents total.

I won 4.04, which I then promptly lost trying to increase it to a withdrawable amount.

That is a complete joke - I haven't even received mine! This is also a misdescription, as they are not proper spins if only one line is used!

They have just ensured this new way of giving promotions has been completely discredited in the player community. Now when we see this again, anywhere, we will know that we will probably be screwed by the hype and find the actual award is a cheat! Worse, we were not allowed to know in advance the nature of this award, and CS even lied by suggesting a figure of 50c a spin (but said per line).

Even Casino Rewards did not stoop to this, and gave all lines in play.

$50 worth of spins for $1000 wagerd would be fair, $1 worth is a total rip-off. I will NOT be depositing a further 55 for next weeks one, and my next depoait will be wneh I am offered a proper bonus, not one of these "free spin" cons.

When I logged in to the casino and opened Gift Wrap, there was a screen informing me of the free spins having been awarded. The select lines and coin size buttons are disabled when you are in free-spin mode.

I went to live chat, and it was confirmed by a supervisor that this is no glitch: 1 cent 1 line is how it is.

I wagered over $3000 and received $1 free spins

I was wondering why mine hasnt been credited yet, maybe because you dont often notice a $1 bonus being credited...

May I take the opportunity to nominate BelleRock for the Ebeneezer Scrooge award this year! This must surely be "no contest" - it is worse than giving nothing!

Such an award will ensure this does not happen again as no casino will want the embarrassement of the retelling of this tale for the rest of the year, and being used as the benchmark for next year's award!

It's not a full dollar, the EV is more like 90 cents.

Now, I ended up exploiting this fairly well (partly because of the mystery going in). I deposited $55, I wagered it all once on autoplay blackjack. Then I requested a cashout (I wont 8 bucks yay!).

I still got the free spins. Hilariously, I hit the pick'em feature 3x and won 25 cents on them! And then I hit a good four of a kind, total winnings were $2.49!

I then ran it up to 8.49 total on single deck blackjack ($6 cash balance). The minimum withdrawal is $20, so I deposited $105, wagered $55 on autoplay blackjack (to qualify for next week!). My net cashout from all of this was $109.50, which means I actually managed to come ahead $4.50 from the gift rap bonus. boo yah.

But yeah, 1 line by 1 cent is just a joke. Max lines at 1 cent was more what I was expecting. This makes Wild Jack's $12.50 worth of spins look like I just won the lottery.
