fit like fellow jock, where do you hail from?

While it is not common, have seen this a few times before and you will get this from time to time. You will also get occasions when betting on black when you get 10 blacks in a row. You will see from other threads that others are noticing similar streaks within some softwares roulettes. If you just knew when these streaks were going to come we'd all be millionaires...

Yes, roulette can be very streaky, either online or at a land based casino. The longest streak of red or black I have heard of is 24, in a German land based casino some years ago. The odds of a 24 streak happening are 0.0000113% so not very common.

Of course a streak does not have to be the same color, it could be alternating colors, red-black-red-black for 24 spins. The same odds for this happening as well.

If you played at the now thankfully defunct netgaming.com in fun mode and bet on red 10 times in a row, there was a very good chance of the ball landing on red 10 times. I suspect that if you played in real money mode, your experience would be quite different.

I wish I could remember the site that had the slots where you could not lose in fun mode. The longer you played the more money you won. It was a lot of fun to win and win and win. If only it worked that way in real money mode!

Seems to happen more online but then you see alot more spins.I have seen the same number(32) come in 5 times in a row in a land based Casino as well as long runs of Red/Black.

I think someone stated the odds of a 24 same colour streak but I think those odds are based on you predicting the start of the streak which is different to that streak occuring at any time. Also remember the odds are still 1/1 that the next spin will be Red/Black no matter how long any streak.

Yes, good point. After 24 reds in a row have already occurred, the odds of making it 25 in a row with another red are 1:1.
