    All Aces glitch?

I had a strange thing occur last night playing the 10 hand power play All Aces VP on microgaming. I was dealt 6-6-3-3-Q and before I even held my cards, I noticed the the Royal Flush sign was flashing as if I had hit one. Bizarre! I had no idea what to do. Do I save all 5 cards and see if it pays me or do I save just the Q and see if it draws a royal? I wound up just playing it normal and holding the 2 pair.

I continued to play for another hour, but I never saw the Royal Flush sign flash again so maybe it was just a one time malfunction?

    Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I reported this to them a few weeks ago which they have investigated and are in the process of fixing. An update should have been applied yesterday.

It kind of freaked me out when it happened to me - I kept all five cards in case it had displayed them wrong.

I noticed this problem since I play MG (already more than a year)
Most of the time it happened with Aces and Eights, but also with other VP games.
I found it disturbing, but I thought it was a bug, and played like it was not flashing.

Even so, I'd have to admit it caused my heart to skip a beat at first.

Happened to me a coupla days ago. I had two aces, so I was wondering if I saved just one ace if it was anticipating that I would hit a Royal. I sat there for a few minutes trying to decide what to do. I couldn't decide which ace it could be so I held both. Fortunately none of the hands would have made a Royal.

    Just wondered

    ALL ACES game;

I am not very well versed in video poker stratergy but I just wondered if you hit 2pair on the deal and one of the pairs is J's or better are you better off just holding the Js as Js or better pays the same as 2pair.Obviously you would be decreasing your chances of a FH but giving yourself the chance of 4 of a kind and 3 of a kind and still have a chance of a FH.Also does this stratergy apply to the *10 and/or the *50 versions?
Sorry, I know this is a bit of a detour on the original thread but figured some knowledgable video poker players would visit here.
    Thanks

I always keep the 2 pairs , unless one of the pairs are Aces.
I am not sure this is the best strategy, but it is how I play it.

    That is correct.

If you have Ace and another high card (J+) only keep both if suited else just keep the ace.
If you have a full house in Aces or 2,3,4 only keep the 3 of a kind. Not doing so is a gigantic mistake. (but happens rare at least).
