Smile Monaco Gold -a good experience (long story)

Hello all. Hope you are all winning big.
After I read the "Playtech nightmare list" thread in which Monaco Gold was included, I just want to say that my experience with them has only been good so far. My girlfriend and I deposited for a 80% bonus, played Desert Treasure slot and won a little. Then suddenly there was a "happy hour" offer -I think it was 200% up to $500 or something like that. We took that offer too, played and won some more, but still needed to wager a lot. We then tried "fixed odd slots" at $1.4 bet, and the thing only ate $50 or so while meeting the wager. Then we cashed out $800 ca.
2 days later we got a "withdrawal cancellation bonus offer" by mail, 20% of our withdrawal in bonus if we cancelled the withdrawal. Only the bonus was to be played, so we were allowed to withdraw the original 800 again after the bonus was issued. We played and lost the bonus. 2 days later: same offer, we won this time (3000$ on desert treasure!). Again we met the wager on fixed odd slots. Monaco kept on offering us those free bonuses, and in 1 month we had gained $13500. Now we withdrew 9000, not accepting more cancellation bonus offers, and in 10 days they paid.
Yes, there was a little hassle about some documents I sent which they claimed not to have recieved, but all were sorted out, and we recieved the
last payment recently without any problems. Their online support has been very friendly all the time, and while some may have had problems with Monaco, I can just say that our experience was a very good one.

Six months ago I played there alot. I didnt win much but never had any problems with em either. Thats why it is so sad to see all the problems that seem to have cropped up. I liked their customer service also. It would be nice to see them turn it around and it is nice to hear a positive story. Congrats and Thank you!

Hi Sweiger and welcome to Meister

Glad you had a good experience - i love the Desert Treasure slot - keeps you going well with some nice wins thrown in - they have got that slot spot on pretty much.

I must say though that this sort of stunt some casinos use really gets my hackles up:

...that in itself would be enough to make me play elsewhere But it worked for you so cool...just be careful not go get drawn in these offers to often...there is a good reason for them and you find that when you finally come to withdraw they start giving you hassle. Just be warned

    Cheers

    Thanks for the welcome.
I guess if a casino has trouble beeing ethic and paying you, it would be wether there is bonus or not..
the "cancel withdrawal" bonus from Monaco was free money to play (and win) with. I really can't see what's in it for the casino, other than they keep your withdrawal a little longer, and maybe they hope you play for more than the bonus?
