Its official,

The Main Street Vegas Group is switching...

MainStreet Casino Group Changes Software

Best wishes for them, I am sure thousands of US players will be looking for decent operations such as Main Street to do business with.

Love Playtech, but getting used to RTG

It's a shame; I prefer Playtech for blackjack above all other SW. I just like everything about the Playtech platform.

But I have spent the last two weeks back at Bodog, getting used to the trends on the RTG software. Most of the sportsbooks around seem to run RTG. It's REAL streaky, but quite beatable on a regular basis.

I could try to explain all the things wrong with your post ... but you wouldn't understand.

And I couldn't care less what you have to say. Since using trend analysis, I have been winning on nearly every session I play (4 out of 5). Go back to shilling for the casinos, I'm sure they appreciate your hard work.

Do we have an "effective date" on this change, or is it already in place?

MAINSTREET ONLINE CASINO GROUP CHANGES SOFTWARE

Costa Rican-based group leaves Playtech for RTG

The rumours have been circulating for the past two weeks, fired up by the legislative developments in America and the position software provider Playtech has taken that it will not service U.S. online gamblers. This week the successful and well-established Main Street Group made it official - it's moving to RealTime Gaming gambling software.

Affiliates were contacted this week with a company statement that said it had become necessary "to safeguard all of your interests" to switch software platforms. The statement went on to say that within the next week the online casinos in the group would change from Playtech to the RealTime Gaming platform.

In the meantime ALL players would be welcomed and have access to their accounts

"To be fair, we recommend that you hold off adding any new banners to your sites until we are up on the new platform," the statement continued. "We will provide you with access to the new affiliate system (and tracking codes) at the earliest possible time."

US players will be heartened by the concluding sentence in the announcement: "After the transition we will continue to accept ALL players (provided they are over 18 years in age). The 50 percent flat commission rate will also remain in effect throughout the remainder of 2006."

Several years ago Main Street was powered by RTG and is familiar with the system and the company. The online gambling operations affected include: Vegas Casino Online, SlotsPlus.com, Diamond Deal Casino, Twin Aces Casino, Festive Bingo, Las Vegas USA Casino and Sun Palace Casino.
