    Payout Percentages?

    I need a math guru here, please help me, if a casino "A" has an average slots return of around 92% and Casino "B" has an average slots return of 95%, How big of a difference in return does this mean to the player? I am sure this sounds trivial for some but my math skills suck, I have been playing at a reputable casino using prorietary software, my returns on this casino are far less than the Micro's, RTG's etc, I have contacted their C/S and they have told me that in $14k of wagers my average payout has been 92.68%.

    I am not sure what kind of explanation you are looking for, but I like this explanation.

    To make it simple say you have a bankroll of 1000$ and playing 1$ each spin.
    Let 'r' be the payout% (instead of 92.68% write it is 0.9268) and 'n' the number of average spins before you go bust, then n can be calculated as:

    n=1000/(1-r)

    So if r=0.9268 this gives n = 13661 spins (wagering 13661$ total with the 1$ bet)
    and if r=0.95 then n = 20000 spins

    So you will almost be able to play twice as long for your money at 95% compared to 92.68% payout.

    However since variance is high for slots, most players will not hit the high wins and therefore the majority will experience much lower number of spins. But this is the average.

    Thanks Zoozie,
    I knew with your math prowess you would be the one to answer, In turn your odds of hitting a higher win are diminished just by the fact your spin totals will be less. Its a real shame as I like this casino, it is accredited, and I trust them as far as paying.

    I am not here to slag any casinos and I dont think you should either,we all have bad runs of luck, its gambling, it happens, at least with Bodog you will always get paid, the casino that I have brought in question has excellent customer service and I have been a member there since 2000, I just dont feel I have the ability to win there and wanted some confimation of this.
