It's never happended in real play though, not as far as I am aware.

My guess is that the person responsible for creating them got lazy or something.

I have seen many of these bugs in MG over the months (and years).
Occasionally, some are to the player's advantage, most are just irritating though.

I thought the bug was the one where the first two reels come to rest but the others just keep on spinning. The one with the bet not updating started last month, and I first noticed it on Reel Strike.
Another bug is that the bubble that shows the bonus/cash amounts does not update properly, sometimes I can play for an hour and it still shows the amounts from the previous session. There is no "refresh" facility either, as there is in Wagerlogic.

In order to try to find the bug that MAY be of advantage to the player, try the following exercise.

Play a bonus down to the last few credits, well below the initial bonus amount. Show your frustration at the appalling session by cashing in your comp points for cash.

Damn, you are right! I gave up after 3 minutes, but I also never played that slot much. Had it been 'Cabin Fever' I would probably have noticed.

It isn't that it is late updating as suggested by SlotsJunkie, there are a few games (can't check which at the moment) that don't show any wins in the stats for the top three payouts, they stay on zero. Also the number of spins only updates for losing spins, any winning spins don't count.

Another thing I've noticed, not really a bug, but interesting. Play Witches Wealth, when you get the bonus, hover your mouse over your credits (before you press spin) and you will know what the bonus is going to be. Noticed this on a few other games, but can't remember what they are right now.
