Positive Shark Casino Experience

I thought I would report a positive experience I had with Shark Casino. I signed up last month for the 200% to $400 WELCOME Bonus one week prior to it being changed to a Sticky for any BJ play.

Well before I signed up I searched Casinomeister and found a few posts that made me a little uncomfortable with Shark. But I decided to give it a shot and deposited $200. Over the course of a couple weeks I played mostly BJ but also some Pai Gow Poker and Video Poker and ended up with my deposit and most of the $400 bonus intact after the $18000 WR.

Along the way I learned that they had changed the WELCOME bonus terms to a sticky for anyone who played BJ. Well this added to my angst about whether I was going to see my money.

Well I was pleasantly surprised. I requested my cashout and sent in the Faxback form, and after a reasonable 5 day wait, all of my funds were sent to my Neteller account. No hassles & no attempts to change the terms of my Cashable bonus.

So, long story short ... Shark Casino was completely professional, offered me a great bonus, and stuck to their terms. I will gladly do one of their reload offers.

Ummmm

I don't think I've ever heard of any RTG Welcome bonus that ever allowed for anything other than slots being played on a 100% bonus.

I still wonder? Your first post and it's nothing but praise for what some think is a shady RTG Casino. Not saying your not telling the truth but sure sounds odd to me.

I kind of figured someone would post a reply like this ... and I completely understand.

I just figured I would make my first post something positive instead of having it be a PAB, if I ever run into trouble with a casino, when noone has heard of me and I have no posts.

I'm certainly not saying Shark is the best casino around. Like I mentioned, I was actually nervous about depositing and playing there, because of their reputation. I would not recommend them to someone with a small BR or just starting out at casinos, but for someone with a little gambool and a sufficient BR, give it a shot. It worked out well for me.

As far as the WELCOME bonus goes, the terms are still up on their site, now with the change that BJ makes it a sticky bonus. When I signed up it was a cashable 200% to $400 with a 30x(D+B) = $18000 WR (Slots have a lower WR, but most games were allowed). I am sure others can vouch for this bonus offer also. In hindsight it was very good and was changed to a BJ Sticky around 8/25/06 as was mentioned here and on TwoPlusTwo.

My experience was not as positive. I signed up on 8/25 and was up about $650 after finishing the playthrough. I attempted to withdraw my $200 deposit. My withdrawl was declined a week later. They told me I signed up a few hours after they changed the rules, making the bonus a sticky and I had to withdraw above $400 ($400 sticky). I check the T&C's carefully before taking a bonus and am certain that there was nothing about the change in the T&C when I signed up. I asked them to get their webmaster to list the time that the T&C changed, but they never followed through. Instead they just insisted that they changed it a few hours before I signed up.

Eventually I accepted that they were not going to make the bonus cashable, so I bet the sticky and gained ~$550 to make up for the $400 bonus loss. At this point the total in my account was over $1400. I tried to withdraw the $400+, bring my balance down to $1000. Again my withdrawl was declined a week later. They told me that I can't withdraw $400+ because the bonus has a max cash out of $4000. I have to withdraw everything to make it clear that the bonus and max cash out have ended, or continue playing and try to reach the max cash out of $4000. I tried to withdraw everything. Its been more than a week (I believe), and I haven't received my withdrawl yet.

I'm guessing you mean 100% and cashable? There are quite a few that offer 100%+ sticky bonuses, but 100% and cashable with reasonable wagering for low house edge table games is rare. I can only think of three RTG casinos with such an offer on a sign up bonus.

I was thinking the same thing. It is an odd first post.

Hmm, $18000 WR, sticky, faxback form, and 5 day wait for cashout? I think I'll pass.

Hi Keswick33,

Welcome to the forum and congratualations on the win. After seeing all the negative postings you would certainly feel relieved in receiving your winnings.
However, I think this is more a neutral than a positive experience. After all, you did nothing wrong and you should be paid your winnings promptly and 5 days isnt exactly what most players would like to wait to receive their money. They have not done anything out of the ordinary to be complimented like this IMO.

I don't understand. Do you mean minimum $4000?

or could you have tried to withdraw the $1400 as a total amount?

The maximum withdrawl is 10xB=$4000. Many RTG bonuses have a 10xB maximum withdrawl that often becomes a factor when a player hits the jackpot on slots. They claim I had to withdraw everything at once (my $1400+ total) to insure that I would not eventually reach the $4000 limit and insure that the $4000 limit period is over. I suspect they just wanted to an excuse to keep me playing, hoping I'll continue making risky bets and lose everything.

I eventually tried to withdraw my total last week. This withdrawl is still pending.

So you could have withdrawn $1400 then they'd take the sticky off. But you chose to keep playing. If you had surpassed $4000 you would only get $4000.
