    Playtech vs Wagerlogic

Wel, apparently Playtech has made some good business with ukbetting: Premiership, Champions League, Six Nations, Horse Racing, Rugby League...

It seems that they have taken over and Crypto will stop providing software over there...

Check it out... competition... isnīt it great?

Interesting. Personally I think the Playtech software looks and feels better than the WL software...well, it feels more 21st Century anyway.

But I wonder how much the general reputation of preceding Playtech licences will have an adverse effect, especially among experienced players. I would have thought Crypto was a much safer bet from a strategic POV.

It's a bit like trading in your Volvo for a TVR. Nice design, shame about the service history Ok - that's harsh, but you get the gist I'm sure.

Good point. I would really like to know what the percentage of inexperienced newbies is vs players who know their way around and can identify the bad bastards.

With their expanded base, it's high time Playtech weeded out the likes of Black Widow, Grand Banks and African Palace or at least make them conform to stricter standards. Cost aside, why would these reputable sportsbooks/casinos want to rub shoulders with the rogues by using a common gaming software. Actually, I think the more experienced players could distinguish the good playtechs from the bad but if some of the latter gave playtech an ill reputation newcomers would not know the difference and refrain from joining any of them just to play safe.
