    Streaky Casinos

I am aware of the risks associated with Prism (RTG), yet I decided to play with them. A seemingly too good to be true bonus convinced me. I found it odd that none of their bonuses have a maximum match, but some have minimums as high as $500. I busted quickly and lost $200... quickly enough to be suspicious of the software. Yet I tried again with $50.

This time I had only a $900 playthough, and if I busted, I received a 200% match chip (cashable after 20x playthough). I paid more close attention to the win and loss ratio this time. I started out like the first time. There were several highly unusual streaks include two different streaks of 12 sequential losses while playing BJ (no ties in between) during the $900 playthough. The chances of 12 sequential losses while playing BJ are ~0.48^12 or 1 in 6,700. I busted and recieved my 200% match. Again, I started losing quickly and got down to $25. I changed my strategy. I increased my bets during the winning streaks and decreased during losing streaks. This time I worked the $25 into $150 while losing the clear majority of hands.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with streaky blackjack?

    Well within probability.

Such streaks do happen, but not all the time.
Whatever they are about to do to screw you over is probably not done with dodgy software.
RTG DOES allow the operators to change the paytables for some games, and reductions in the VP games have been mentioned a few times. They may also be able to change the rules of the Blackjack, which can move the house edge to 1% if done well. (BJ is normally far less than this with perfect strategy).
If anyone can prove that Prism is indeed running rigged software this will reflect badly on ALL RTG casinos.

These bonuses seem too good to be true, worth going over the T & C for the catch. As you know the risks, you have probably factored this in, but they will probably have an "anything goes" term that even the most careful player cannot guard against.

I've never trusted RTG casinos with regards to bonuses. Their casino offers these ridiculous bonuses and I too have these ridiculous streaks of losses--ultimately losing the bonus and buy-in in short time.

That's why I don't play there any more. I just play at live dealer casinos like Casinowebcam. That way--should I get beat, at least it was truly random.

It is possible that my experiences were influenced by server issues. The server dropped my connection several times forcing me to relog in. I plan to try prism again, but with no more than $50.

Always busted when close to meeting WRs. Does this mean that you seldom cashout, if any at this casino?

    Re

I dont know, prisms software does seem strange .

I just played there, and I did hit a roayl on nickles that was dealt to me off the bat,.. but after that every poker game I played did not have the small hands. Like playing dueces wild, and going through 200 credits without a single wild. All the poker games lacked much in the way of small hands.
I have been playing rtg for years and never seen anything like that. It struck me as odd and not rite. First time and last time I play there. I tried all the poker games and they all played the same. Really wierd.

    Very odd

That seems very odd. There should not be a famine of the small hands, it is more likely a bad run will be something like getting many 3OK and never seeming to hit the 4OK.
If this shut down came after a Royal Flush, it would imply a non-random game, or the legendary "off switch".
Pity RTG do not have the means for players to analyse their own play logs. It is necessary to get them from the casino. It might be worth asking for all your poker game logs, both before and after the RF (don't tell them why, at least not the truth!), and see if there is a case to answer statistically, or even evidence of a sudden change of pattern after the RF.
It is just possible that the software is a "pirate" rather than genuine RTG, there have been a couple of casinos caught cheating with proprietry software. If they offer a free chip, it might be worth having a look to see if it "feels wrong".

    Re

I cant really say how it played before hand as I hit the royal straight off.

Another example,. When I played loose dueces, I would draw up a garbage hand, and discard the whole thing, and draw up another garbage hand. This would go on hand after hand for like 50 draws? Then mabey I would get a
3ok. Then another 50 garbage hands like that with nothing to even pick, no dueces ever showing.
This wasnt the same poker game I hit the royal. I hit the royal on bonus dueces , and then stopped playing bonus dueces after I hit it.

But to have all the video poker play the same way in that same matter with the garbage hands like that no matter the game, was just really odd.
I should have known better than play there anyway, but I didnt deposit much.
I put in 25 bucks and got a match bonus. I hit the royal and then
went through all the credits on the nickle poker , with it playing strange like that until I busted out . I only play rtg for the most part and have had bad runs, but never nothing like that in all the years I played.

I like to play pick em poker, and in that game you need those small hands to even keep going. Without them, the game is useless, lol Owell, lesson learned.
I will not be going back over there.
