Sketchiness at Cherry Casino- Deuces Payout

Cherry advertises 100.76% payout on their deuces wild VP machine: https://www.cherrycasino.com/en/prom...euces-wild.jsp

    Cherrys paytable (5 coins):

    Natural Royal: 4000
    4 deuces: 1000
    Wild straight flush: 100
    5 of a kind: 75
    Straight Flush: 45
    Four of a Kind: 20
    Full House: 20
    Flush: 15
    Straight: 10
    3 of a kind: 5

    From: http://wizardofodds.com/videopoker/t...euceswild.html

8th table from the top, 97.97% payout, is the exact same as cherrys paytable. This is a 2.79% difference from the advertised payout.

I'm aware that I have few posts on this forum, but I believe my analysis is correct.

    Thoughts?

Well caught. Maybe Bryan could take it up with Cherry, since this is not the sort of thing we expect from an accredited casino.

I shot them off an email as soon as I saw it, I'm hoping it is not inappropriate to also post here?

What kind of recourse is there if they refuse to change their advertising? I took screenshots of both the ad and the paytable, not sure if this means anything in the long run or not.

I don't believe there's any recourse. While that kind of thing might be a big deal in a land-based casino, in the virtual world, it's small potatos.

You did the right thing in pointing it out. Hopefully just posting about it here will get their attention.

Personally, I think false advertising sucks. It's not different from offering a $5 lunch special on the menu, and then charging $9.95 when the bill comes. Except at the casino, you can't not pay, because they already got your money.

I doubt this was intentional deception. Looks like someone just screwed up. They're well known to be reputable. And surely no one there would think that this would go unnoticed. Hence, it's probably just a screw up.

But either way, if they fix it and do offer full pay, it won't last long. They can't offer full pay without getting clobbered.

btw, nice to see they now have Double Bonus. It's the same pay table as Crypto. Love getting 800 on quad aces. It's always good to see more video poker games. The more the merrier. Would like to see Pick'em. Fun game.

I really do like their Flash video poker. It's really smooth and fast.

Looking at Cherry's site now, July 4th, and they've finally taken down the remarks about "100.76% deuces wild".

    lol

Just goes to show you. The people running these places don't always know wtf they're talking about. (Of course, that goes for me too. )

Anyway, full pay deuces wild? I knew it was too good to be true. Still, though, Cherry Casino is one of the best casinos in cyber space. Obviously one of the good guys.

They gave me a $15 50x bonus for reporting it to them. Probably still small change in comparison to the number of people that played it because they saw the "100.76% payout" ad.

They can't even offer full pay Jacks or Better (or any other good video poker games).

To me that puts them middle of the pack at best.

They can keep their $30 bonus too.
