Do you play blackjack? I love blackjack!

I'm not normally a superstitious person, so welcome to my insanity-

You know you've been playing blackjack too much when any of the 30 following thoughts enter your head (or you do any/many regularly):

Don't scratch kuz it'll mess up the winning streak
Only play after 1am kuz thats when the cards are RED hot
I need to check to see if my avatar has any hints how to proceed with this hand
I need to change tables
If I concentrate hard enough - the right card will come
Dammit.. I concentrated too hard
Don't breathe too heavily, it'll disturb the winning streak
My window is the wrong size
If I move my mouse in the right way.. It'll fix my losing streak
If I click the double down button with closed eyes, I will win
I accidentally changed my bet.. now I'm screwed
I cant go to the bathroom till this winning streak is over
I'm going to do something else for awhile to confuse the casino
I'm losing so much, I need to reinstall this casino
I need to change my shirt.. this isnt my winning... shirt/pants/whatever
I need to wait longer till I hit the button
When I'm winning, I need to play faster
When losing.. slower
Cross your fingers while you are getting a double or split
Click down on the button for 2 seconds before releasing to "build up a win"
Click down and hold the Stand button for extra seconds for extra fortification against 21's
Don't shift in your seat or it will disrupt the winning streak
and the reciprocal
Shift in your seat to change up the cards and get off this losing streak
You must always tell the dealer what cards to deal either aloud or to yourself (like there's some kind of 'digi-kinesis')
The more vulgar your language the quicker your losing streak will end
The dealer has no name but somehow you have an endless list of fresh nicknames
You make the 21 and the dealer gets 20 and you immediately start in with the smack talk
Show no fear kuz the casinos ability to win is derived from your fear
Lean in to get a better look at the dealers down card before you make your play

and the #1 superstitious thing that you do while playing blackjack:
Restart the computer and reconnect - cold boot mind you - to stir up the cards

"Build up a win" has been a catch phrase for weeks now here.

-z- I do believe in luck and karma and all that but if I had half the thoughts you listed there I would need to be sectioned for my own safety

note to GM.. the chinese guys in london B&Ms would display all those thoughts and more.

Here's another one:

When clicking the double button, be sure to hold your breath for exactly 10 seconds and a 10 will show up. Hold it for less time for a smaller card and for 1 or 11 seconds to receive an ace. Good luck! Ha!

I dont know if you call this "superstition", but I rarely Double if at the very previous hand I doubled and I won the hand...


Almost 95% of the time I lose my double bet...

If I win 3 times in a row,I bet large amounts for 4h hands.I think that I am in a lucky 10 seconds and I want to benefit from it.

And don't forget increasing your bet immediately after winning a hand where the dealer is showing a face card...but ends up busting, so you win on that measly 17
