    Hi All,

    I hope everything was resolved.

I know that the $10 is not what this is about, that is why City Club Casino more than doubled it.

    Your feedback is priceless.

Although I am here as an affiliate representative - I would like to hear about these things.

In the future, please refer to support@cityclubcasino.com, They are doing a great job, and that is one of the reasons they have very few player complaints.

    Have a great one,

    GamingPromo

Yes, just as it is easy to complain, it is just as easy to say thank-you when someone responds and does the right thing. I did receive your reply, including the extra bonus. I appreciate your following through and hope that there will be a positive experience going forward. (I am still curious, though, that the CS can't credit bonuses. Was this a mistake or is this your casinos policy?) In any case, thank-you!

Also, just read your personal reply to my message. Sounds like not allowing CS to credit the bonus is not general policy, just happened in this instance. Thanks. I hope City Club can become my Playtech casino.

    City Club is marginal

This is my first post, but have been lurking for quite some time. I've really grown attached to this site and think of so many of you as a real resource to learn what is going on out there in the online gambling world.

In return, I will give you my thoughts on City Club as I was a die hard player there for quite some time.

To start, City Club support is actually some of the best I've come across. However, the casino as a whole has really declined over the past year.

I was a very heavy dedicated player who has deposted roughly 40k over a 24 month period (only cashed out approx 9k). I had my moments where I was WAAAY up and then the world famous Playtech streaks kicked in where I enjoyed 10-15 losing hand streaks in a row, 4 dealer blackjacks in a row, etc.

I had received numerous "sticky" bonuses which had 20X wager requirements attached for my dedicated play. Now I hear they are withdrawable if the WR are met, but for the majority of the duration of my play they were not.

Here is the straight scoop from someone who played there almost exclusively for a long time:

No matter how much you deposit/lose you can never expect a comp of anything other than a wager requirement attached bonus. Even though in the testimonials of the site people praise them for the wonderful cruise or vacation they were given, these comps simply don't exist. If they do, depositing 40k and losing 30k+ there doesn't earn you anything.

I expressed my disappointment to the mgmt at City Club and gave them a real chance to keep my heavy play. I was given an additional wager required bonus which of course has 0.00 value unless I wagered it insanely and had to actually win to see my "reward" for all that historical play. A reward it was not.

It's clear I was expecting too much.. but let this be a measure to all of you.

Playtech casinos can not be trusted overall. The streaks are legendary, and so improbable to the extent at which they are occurring it very much blurs the lines of "honest" and "rigged". This is something that is enabled on the casino host side, automatically or manually who knows... but the "mode" exists. I have played millions of hands at playtechs over the past 5 years and can tell you that I could almost set my watch by them. I have screenshots of play history that would make your toes curl.

Your strongest bet is at the blackjack surrender table.

The table limits at city club are low.. max 300.00 bet.

The online support people are great, the management who oversees them are not.

So, I moved on to Bet365. I stuck with playtech because I feel the most comfortable there knowing that animal of software best.

Here is why I moved there:

Bet365 is the closest thing to a land casino. You deposit, and you cashout when you want to. No stupid days-long waiting period(City club averaged 7 days). I get paid within 2 hours consistantly at Bet365.

They offer the live dealers which is the only way to play playtech when the streaks are hard & heavy on the traditional RNG tables.

2000.00 max bet limit on the tables!

Licensed and regulated in the UK. Has an established Storefront sportsbetting business for 15 years as well.

No wager requirements on any bonuses I've received. None. I've been given 200.00 bonuses that I was told I could withdraw instantly if I wanted to.

So, my message to all with City Club: Play there but only go after the sign-up bonuses and then leave because there is absolutely zero long term reason to stay around. Don't expect anything for being a dedicated player. It won't happen.

Also be weary of any references in emails or support conversations with anyone named "Marty" aka "Martin Soul" (lobbymanager@cityclubcasino.com) as that is a general persona. Emails sent from "marty" are coming from multiple people which is evidenced by no knowledge or reference to previous conversations. The original Marty was very well spoken, the most recent marty definitely uses english as a second language. It's all very strange..

Thank you milemaster for your detailed post and welcome to the forum.
I do enjoy and appreciate the feeling of real experiences from players like yourself.
(BTW Bet 365 is one of my favorites playtechs, probably the best. This is irrelevant to the thread topic but I do also enjoy getting paid constantly in 30 minutes to my moneybookers account )

Interesting post. As I stated, I did end up getting the bonus credited. I do believe you are right about "Marty" being a general persona. When I received the credit, I received two emails, one from Marty & the other from the casino manager, both stating that I had received a bonus. The one from Marty appeared to be a general statement and the other more specific to my situation. I'm surprised that they wouldn't try harder to keep someone who had played (& often lost) so much money. I did notice that although you don't totally trust the software, you are sticking to a Playtech company still. I do love Playtech, too. It is too bad there are so many Playtech sites you need to watch out for!
